Animals May Be Put Down If Not Adopted Posted: 6/14/2005 6:14:00 PM Updated: 6/14/2005 6:14:00 PM
The Simpson County Animal Shelter says forty dogs will be put to sleep if they are not adopted by the end of the month.
There are a variety of dogs in several different breeds, ages and personalities at the Simpson County Animal Shelter, but they all have something in common.
Volunteers who run the shelter say they cannot take these dogs to the new facility just down the street that opens at the beginning of the month because they’re afraid of transferring disease.
The animals have until the end of the month to be adopted or they will be killed.
Isn't that the place you're trying to adopt Elvis from?? That is sooo sad!!! I hope some kind soul will adopt them all (hopefully they're discounting adoption fees), just to rehome them. Poor doggies!! It's not their fault people are idiots!!
