Do you have?


I know some of you but there are so many new since I came back. I was wondering if we could all just post with the breed or mix of dog's we have?


I have


2 Pitbulls


2 Dobermans


1 Cockerspanial


and a japanise chin JRT mix.

your familiar with AB's do they tend to have skin problems or allergies? I cannot find anything to work on Dillon for fleas that does not break him out really bad. I know he is pit and AB for sure heck he looks AB

It is very common for AB's to be allergic to everything and anything which causes skin problems. 97%(or some number like that) of dogs are not allergic to Poison Ivy, Storm is. Storm will break out while huge bumps if left outside too long. They tend to be worse if they are mainly white which I see Dillon is so is Storm.


As far as fleas go, have you tried something like Off but witout the deet? You can use human insect repelent as long as it doesn't have deet on dogs, that is what I have use on Storm. It usually only works for 2-4 days and just spray them again. As far as baths go try mixing a little bit of dog shapmoo with Dawn dish soap. It HAS to be Dawn, there is something in Dawn that breaks down the "wax" on a flea which is there protencant the little bit of dogs shampoo with kill the flea. No other dish soap has that.


All the info above I got from my vet and another vet. I looked into everything before doing it. I didn't what anymore problems or to have my dog get sick.

Rocky "Rooby-Roo" is a St. Bernard / Boxer Mix....and probably Dalmation, Pit, Wiener Dog.....ok, not weiner dog...just threw that in there for fun.....he is a well rounded mutt


Molly "Tubby" is a puggle- Pug/Beagle mix

we currently have 4 gsd's...one bred


(2 are going to be rehomed...and looking into purchasing 1 or 2 more)
