our vet said it, i was surprised cause Buster loves em, but then again, he'll eat most anything lol

Someone here should have a list of toxic foods for dogs. I think, think, grapes was on the list.

 i have heard also that any fruit with seeds are bad for dogs .. it said that the seeds contain cyanide and if fed often the cyanide can build up  in their bodies and kill them ... i know peachs definately have cyanide in the stones as that where they get the stuff from..

Other potential dangers   

  • Pear pips, the kernels of plums, peaches and apricots, apple core pips (contain cyanogenic glycosides resulting in cyanide posioning)
  • Potato peelings and green looking potatoes
  • Rhubarb leaves
  • Mouldy/spoiled foods
  • Alcohol
  • Yeast dough
  • Coffee grounds, beans & tea (caffeine)
  • Hops (used in home brewing)
  • Tomato leaves & stems (green parts)
  • Broccoli (in large amounts)
  • Raisins and grapes
  • Cigarettes, tobacco, cigars
