Here are a few pics from over the weekend of the 4th I thought I'd share. We went out with some friends one night.....couldn't find any of hubby in this group....lol
First off, while cleaning the house we just moved into, I found a pic of it in the top of a closet. It looks like it may have been taken last winter sometime. I have some recent pics of it, but don't have them developed yet. This is the front of the house......the back is just beautiful though. I'll try to get the other pics up soon.
Next, me and a friend being poster children for beer and ciggarettes.....lol (course, we didn't realize that when the pic was taken)
Me and another friend, Ken Mellons (he is a musician and was signing autographs...lol). I always joke about his last name......lol
The next pics will all be of hubby......lol. He'll pout if he doesn't see his pic on here....(j/k)
Love'um Ansy...when did you go blond? The only other photo I've seen of you is the one that was altered and your hair was dark.
Think I may by the large farm down the road from you...your home looks so spacious. And OMG your husband told me in chat that there are Mexicans in Tennessee....I think I'm safe..lol
Um. OK. I am just jealous enough now to rip your whatever off. Cool house, neat friends. I want some. I also want to look like you[again] 45 is an OK amount of years, but I compete in the workplace with people 1/2 my age....You look awesome, and that is too cool... Come to think of it, I never looked that good. Don't let it go to your head, Ansy. Pretty and smart[rassafrassarsnasakktip88##hhtr] OK, I'm ok w/ that now...just stay off my men[men, show yourselves]....
I have been dyeing my hair blonde since I was 13 years old....lol. I think it was just a darker blonde in that other pic....lol....plus, not alot of my hair was shown in it.....just my mug...lol
Yes, we have lots of Mexicans in TN. We have a little place called Little Mexico about 5 miles outside of Nashville....lol
Kitty, thank you for the compliments, but in all honesty.....its the hair and make up that makes me....lol. I don't look anything like that with out make up and my hair fixed...lol. I'm still stuck in the '80's. I love the big boofy hair. Once I started fixing it that way (in about 1985), I've never stopped.....lol.
Maybe some night I'll get drunk and post a pic of me with NO make up....lol. You'd all run for cover....lol!! Trust me, it will never go to my head......if it even gets close....I just wake up and look in the mirror.....and I am reminded of how important it is to paint my face on each day....lol!
BTW, that friend Im sitting with is John. One of 2 Johns I met on the internet.......the other one - I married....lol
Ansy, we have the hair thing in common. I always had a perm to help keep it poofy and curly. I haven't had one in awhile but have been tempted lately. I have to laugh at me kids when I do my hair....right away they say "Mom, what's with the hair....all poofy??!!!" Whatever!
My brother keeps telling me the 80's are over. Well.....maybe.......
Hey Kitty, long straight hair on a women is beatiful. I permed my staright hair years ago, and kicked myself for it. I hated it.
Ansy what a great house you have. Perfect porch for sitting and having a cup of coffee, or whatever. What a vision it will be once you spruce it up with some chairs and plants. Good for you girl.
i love it too ! our place is like that with woods behind us. its so peaceful. after living out here i dont think i would make it in the city. dont like traffic and noise, we dont hear any of that here. but we do hear the birds in the morning and the coyotes at night. and its perfect. your place looks nice and you will probably love the peace and quiet.
you are very pretty ansy. i used to poof my hair up too, but it got to be such a pain because it is naturally straight. and now that its so long ,its so hard to hold a curl so i just let it go. i dyed my hair dark brown once, but being so fair it just didnt look right, so i put it back to blonde and left it alone. and i was like you about make-up, but quinn says he loves me with or without it so i only put on a little when we go out. its such a hassle anymore. lol
well i hope you guys are happy in your new home. and its always nice buying as you can do whatever you want to it because it is yours. we just recently put up chain link around our yard and i could not believe how expensive it was. we had always rented before and now whatever we need we have to buy ourselves, but at least it is ours to keep. good luck in your new home and enjoy !!
oooh seeing your house pictures makes me so excited for my husband and i to buy one. We aren't doing that though until he is out of the army.
As for the 80'sa stuff...well i was born in 1982 so i was just little so i never was into all that. ALTHOUGH i have naturally curly floofy hair so i would have fit in just fine LOL I straighten my hair EVERY DAY and boy is it a pain in the rear end!
Love the house! Very nice! (Don't see any dirt bikes sitting on the front pourch yet!)
Oh the 80's! The slap braclets, trapper keepers, 2 pairs of socks, t-shirt ties.... The list goes on and on! LOLI'm so glad all that stuff is gone!
I couldn't get my hair to hole a durl with 5 bottles of hair spray and 5 bottles of gel! My hair is straight as a board and it will never be anything else.
hey now i do remember the trapper keepers and snap on bracelets! Anyone remember the 2 colors of shoe laces on each shoe? Like oh hot pink and neon green LOL Any one else use to wear LA Gears? LOL
