I was hungry tonight. This is the result... We were at a party His ear lobe fell in the deep Someone reached in and grabbed it It was a rock lobster We were at the beach Everybody had matching towels Somebody went under a dock And there they saw a rock It wasn't a rock It was a rock lobster Motion in the ocean His air hose broke Lots of trouble Lots of bubble He was in a jam S'in a giant clam Down, down Underneath the waves Mermaids wavin' Wavin' to mermen Wavin' sea fans Sea horses sailin' Dolphins wailin' Red snappers snappin' Clam shells clappin' Muscles flexin' Flippers flippin' Down, down Let rock! Boy's in bikinis Girls in surfboards Everybody's rockin' Everybody's fruggin' Twistin' 'round the fire Havin' fun Bakin' potatoes Bakin' in the sun Put on your noseguard Put on the Lifeguard Pass the tanning butter Here comes a stingray There goes a manta-ray In walked a jelly fish There goes a dog-fish Chased by a cat-fish In flew a sea robin Watch out for that piranha There goes a narwhale HERE COMES A BIKINI WHALE!
Oh, I was reading all these downer race whiney posts, and was listening to that song. B52's, it is so cute, and silly. I was BBQing some steak[lovely top sirloin, thick and tender, for some reason only about a buck and a half a pound] found big white potatos on sale and baked them. The most expensive part of the meal was the sour cream, green onion and bacon bits, that was about $5. just to make that potato right Ya know, you can google and get song lyrics to just about anything. Some of the prettiest songs... I think it's cool that it talks about the potatos I was baking...Maybe I needed some seafood last night
Ya know, I got some lovely crab claw meat at the Chinese supermarket.... Maybe a scampi sauce with some pasta? I have some fresh chow mein noodles though... I really overdid the Chinese menu this week. Last night was just to recoop from all the ding dang vegis that I am eating this week...
i am 49 years old and never had lobster. when i seen what they look like , they remind me of giant bugs. lol .i love shrimp though and they look alot like lobster, but i dont have any problems with them...... weird. never had clams or crab either. its weird how we develope food phobias as kids and they carry on into adulthood.
it was april the 41st and i was driving through downtown atlantis. my barracuda was in the shop, so i was in a rented stingray, and it was overheating. so i pulled into a shell station, and the guy said id blown a seal. i said to fix the dang thing and leave my private life out of it. while it was being fixed, i went across the street to the oyster bar........a reel dive. i knew the owner, he used to play for the dolphins....i said HII GILLLLL!!!!, u have to yell cause he is hard of herring. well, i bellied up to the sand bar and ordered the usual.........a rusty snail, hold the grunion shaken, not stired. i was feelin good!! i even put a sand dollar in the box for jerry's squids. tommy dorsal was rockin the place with a popular tuna..........." salmon enchanted evening" there were a whole bunch of screaming groupers there, probably to see the bass player. thats when i noticed a cute little yellowtail, and she was giving me the eye. so i went over and said, " hey baby, whats ur sign? " and she said, "aquarium' so i said GREAT!!, LETS GET TANKED!! she said not tonight, ive got a haddock. and she wasnt kidding either, cause in came the meanest looking haddock ive ever seen come down the pike. gill knew there was gonna be trouble and was already on the phone to the cods. he said, HEY SHRIMP!! DONT U COME TROLLING AROUND HERE!!! he was steamed!! i could see the anchor in his eyes. thats when he tried to catch me with a sucker punch, but i caught him with a left hook!! it was a fluke, but there he was lying on the deck flat as a mackeral. the yellowtail was impressed with the way i landed her boyfriend, and said she didnt know my name, so i said.............Marlin after that we had a great time. i took her to dinner. i took her to dance. i even bought her a boquet of flounders. then i took her home for a little midnight bait. and do u know what i got for my troubles?????????.............................................a bad case of the crabs!!
