Eee-heee, Tuna doesn't know about pm's...we gonna have fun with you dude. At least you are uploading photos and that makes you one up on me. Dat eees one beeeeig fish of the side of the boat. I get fishing fever occasionally, but get seasick even looking at water, as well as having this problem with catching anything big enough to catch me back
My dad caught a marlin a couple years ago on a trip. He had a replica made, it so pretty. Can't imagine catching the real thing.
I love water, but going out on the ocean never fails to make me sick. Every time! I have been on a couple deep sea fishing trips and they always turn out miserable. Bummer!
So 16 years ago when I joined the Navy everyone freaked out! lol They were like...."YOU??!!???" "JOIN THE NAVY!!??!!"
Luckily I never got stationed on a boat! lol Got lucky and was with a P-3 Squadron....spent all my time in an airplane hanger!!
On those fishing trips, when I wasn't sick and could stand up long enough to fish a little, I had a blast, but it was only for about 15 minutes at a time....the rest I was basically hanging over the edge!
Yah. Me too. I remember when I was a kid, someone said well this is a BIG boat so you won't be sick on it.....spew. I get sick from elevators, cars, plane rides and earthquakes. Always have, always will. If you drug me I get a foggy head, but I will still puke. I will go up lots of stairs to avoid an elevator. The plane ride to Maui left me with an elevator phantom feeling for 4 days. Just every hour or so, it feels like the ground drops down beneath me. Very disconcerting. Recent earthquakes, though mild, made me nauseous for 2 weeks.
Oh, Twink that's cute. It took me almost 30 years to get my kennel name Solid Image. I had been using Rainbow Shadow For instance Rainbow Shadow Luke, Rainbow Shadow Mindy Rose...I did not want to go into a show ring with that name, a bent wrist, and a mincing gait, so eventually I figured something else out...
Those are some awesome pictures Tuna chaser! I'm landlocked, so the biggest thing we catch are Walleye, lol. My dad did catch a 30 pound Stripped Bass in one of our reservoirs one time though. That's pretty big I guess coming from a lake. And when we go down to Cabo we go deep sea fishing. I have only been once, and I can't remember what it was we caught. It was pretty big, but it wasn't a tuna. Fishing is a blast :)

It's even funnier when I tell it in person. You need to hop and do a little bicycle with your feet and pronouce the name with a lisp, a lilt, and a bit of a tune to it...
30 lb? Wow. That must have been fun. I like it when I catch stuff and all the pros that I go with get mad at me for my luck. I swear I wish the fish onto the line 1/2 the time...
My husband will be so jealous when he sees the pics. He loves fishing but here in North Texas we don't have fish like that. We mainly just go for catfish.
My grandpa lived in Gulf Breeze, FL and we used to always go fishing with him. Totally different experience out in the ocean than out on a lake. I haven't been out there since I was 13 years old. One of these days I plan on taking my daughter.

lol picturing it is making little twinkypoos laugh *mincing*
KM...you know, the older I get the worse I am with that kind of thing. Two years ago at King Island I was sicker than a dog over some of the rides, not spinny rides either. I never used to be that bad. Even now, as you said, even an elevator can give me that yuck feeling.
I can go out on a lake though and not be sick. We rent a pontoon on occasion and I am fine with that.
That was a very bizarre story about the dog Tuna. That size fish is what my boss lives for. Fishing is like a drug to him, takes him days to get all of his equipment out. He breaks out all his lures, figures which to take which not too. You guys could be best buds. What state are you in? I'm all up for more fishing storys, and it is still pet related. LOL Oh when you sign into the furm you will see your user name, it will say Logged in as Tuna Chaser, if you have a P.M.(private message) it will say, you have 1 message, click on it. I like lakes, they don't go up and down, maybe just back and forth a wee bit. We used to use a pontoon boat all the time when I was a kid. We used it as a dock when it was tied to shore...
sweet, i used to drive a pontoon boat on the colorado river in laughlin nv, taking tourists to the casinos.......it was alot of fun...........but i missed the tuna action too much.
The most things that i have caught are Crayfish ( there like mini lobsters) a river runs past our house just a few metres away and theres a old jetty going into the river .. we sit there with our bacon on a piece of weighted string and then with in a minute we are pullling them out the water one after another .. sometimes 2 at a time .. and then cook them .. they are delicious .. i'l have to take some pics when i next walk down there
We have a park here in So. Cal. that we used to fish for crawdads, Is that the same as crayfish. They look the same, maybe someone was joking with us, LOL
