Today after I got back to the job core center afte going on the tour of the campus Mr. Dukes the admissions person had me and 4 other people go ahead and fill out the application to join. well after I filled it out and took it to him he told me that because I had been in therpy for thoughts of suicide that I might not be able to get into the program but he said that if I went and got a current mental evauation that that would help alot and raise my chances of getting in. He gave me a number for a place called MHMR. When I gave my mother the number to call she called them the lady that picked up wouldn't even tell us how much it would cost to get an evaluation. All she kept saying is that it depends on if my mother and me qualify for there program. I was thinking what the heck I don't want to join there program I just want an evauation. Then they said that we would be put on a waiting list just for them to call my mother back. They said they would call no later then tomorrow. I told my mother that if they didn't call then we were going to find another place to do this at. Cause if I don't get this done soon then I will be put on a waiting list to join job core because the group I went with is the largest group they have ever seen in about 3 years to come take a tour of the campus. Theres was a total of 55 people including me that went on the tour. We had to take 1 large bus, 2 vans, and a couple of cars. And most of the people that where in my group are taking desktop publishing like me so that why I would have to be put on a waiting list if I don't get in job core around the same time as these other people.
