I'm kind of bummed. My birthday is coming up on August 4th. We always go to Vegas, and my boyfriend has never been so I was really excited to go this year. I even got all the dogs boarded at my friend's boarding kennels. But it turns out we wont be going cause we dont have the funds just now, cause Jason just got a new job, so he is training and not making any money just yet. Im bummed!
And the worse part is, when i made the reservations for the boarding about a month ago, my friend ask if these were definite plans cause the boarding place gets filled up quick, and if i back out at the last moment it will screw them up. I told her not to worry, that it was definite. Well I called her and told her we are not going anymore and if she cant find someone to fill my space then i would still board two of the girls for two nights. I know it sounds silly, but if this was just some random place I would cancel my reservation and not think twice, but its my friend's place and I dont want to screw them up(plus my mom said she would pay for the boarding,hehe). I figured i could use those two days to train the puppy more, without the distraction of 3 other dogs. But I will sure miss Lana and Winnie, Syd is staying with me cause I cant sleep without her...lol...its sad but true.
Anyways I just wanted to vent, thanks for listening.:)
that will help alot when your dogs go into the kennels atleast you and the puppy will be able to focus on the training and it can be alot more effective
I'm sorry Syd! I totally know how that feels. We were suppose to go on a vacation this past May, but were unable to because of taxes. We didn't realize we were going to owe money instead of getting some back. I think everyone needs a vacation once in awhile.
If airfare is an issue, you might want to try calling the airline directly. Expedia and Travelocity has good deals, but sometimes they don't show a deal because it is booked up. But if you call the airline, sometimes there are cancellations and you can still get the sale price. Do ya'll have casinos in your state? Maybe you can just go to one of those and just stay the night in a hotel where they are. We have 'Central City' and 'Blackhawk' where I live, and it's just small casinos with hotels. Sometimes we will do something like that if we can't do a big trip.
