What is weirs about it is that no one has seen a possum around here for about 2 years. I just checked on the possum its gone now. I don't really care at this point if trintiy uses the restroom in the house tonight. I don't know where it is and don't want to let her out there until tomorrow morning. I'm glad its gone cause if she would have killed it then I would have called the animals shelter to come pick it up and they take for ever to come out and get a dead possum and as long as it would have been out there trinity wouldn't be going out there.

Let see how do I put this. I HATE POSSUMS!!!!!!! Before we got trinity and before my last room mates moved in. My mother and me had other room mates who were friends of ours. Well they had a symoe ( i know i didn't spell that right) he always killed possums. Since he had alot of hair and was fluffy he had to stay outside cause of my allerigies. So he killed alot of possums. Once he left I never saw a possum again and nither did any of my nieghbors. My main worry about possums are that trinity will get hurt. If that possum would have decided to bite trinity it would have probably biten her in the neck cause thats where the possums head was closes too.

LOL I just got done scrubbing my hands and now I don't want trinity to touch me with her snout. LOL

actually i rarely am in bed before two or three in the morning.

wow..im in bed between 10-10:30 pm i get soooo moody if i dont get any sleep and some real bad headaches

I think possums are so nasty. I have seen one play dead put one did scare the heck out of me one time and ever since then I'm afraid to even go near a dead one. I was helping my room mate put her dog on a tie down cause we thought it just killed a possum and since he couldn't come inside we put it on the tie down so it couldn't mess with the possum. Well when we turned around to go inside we couldn't get inside cause even though the possum was hurt really bad and bleeding everywhere it was still so pissed. When me and my room mate turned around to go inside there it was looking at us and hissing it was pissed and wanted to attack something. It was between us and the back door. We started yelling for someone anyonw who was awake in the house or any where to help us cause I do know that if they are that pissed they will attack. we didn't want to move cause we were afraid if we moved it would lunge. Well my mother came out to tell us to be quiet saw the possum and slammed the back door shut and ran. My neighors who are across the ally came out to see what was going on when they saw the pissed off possum between us and the door and grabbed a net and grabbed in and put it and put it into a trash can. We were so happy to see our neighbors. LOL

i had one as a pet when we had our farm. he got aggressive towards my husband as he got older. he hissed and snapped at him on several occasions. i ended up taking him into the woods behind our house and turning him loose. he would still come back and eat the food i would leave out for him. i just think that wild animals are meant to be left in the wild. i had a coyote pup too that we found by the side of the road one night, injured.we had her for about 6 months and then one day she disappeared into the woods and was gone.

my husband(god rest his soul) used to call me elly mae ,from the beverly hillbillies, because i always had critters of some sort. my mom would never come out and visit because she was afraid of my sons rats. lol they were probably the tamest of the bunch.
