BELOVED

Methinks thy other thread was polluted by ill wishing, so I thought to answer you on a fresh one. Would not want to ruin your appetite for flesh with the dross that fills our lives...

[What Asian recipe might you bestow upon me? I see you cook steak often. A woman of class. My mouth salivates at the thought of meat....and you, of course. ]

In consideration for our nocturally mutual nature, I picked a treat that includes beef, but has other useful vegetation added, good for this weather. I tend to modify any recipe I use, not likeing salt and sugar. This one the lime, cilantro, garlic and red onion make the taste. So cut down on the fish sauce accordingly. I get a lower salt FS from thailand, as they are more health concious there.

This site has several other recipes. The url is for Thai Beef Salad.
Best if you have a BBQ to use...
Easy to do, is just in a baggie, put kikkoman teriyaki sauce and any meat for a bit, then put them on the bbq basket with fresh garlic, onion powder, red & black pepper, grill charred Rare for best taste and texture, just wear a bib, as the blood from the hot, still juicy, meat tends to stain your shirt...

Thank you dear lady. It sounds hauntingly good.  I believe I will feast myself upon this delightful meal tonight.

Good to hear from you.
I like to use flanken style ribs w/ the teriyaki sauce. I still don't cook them much. Charred rare is crunchy and juicy, both.
I guess I need to go fill the gas for the grill. Sunday night it ran out before the meal was cooked, and all that lovely lean burger became pasta sauce last night.
So many places do the vegis all mixed and cleaned these days, I just get a chop suey mix and some extra bean sprouts. To be honest with you, Safeway/Vons has a line of their own asian dishes that are quite good and more complex than I am capable of making. I buy two of those[sauce and noodles being the focus] then steam the extra vegis, brocolli, carrot, chinese pea mix is good. Then I just fold the one into the other for a Chinese feast. Costs about $10. Eggrolls with Hot mustard are real good with that. I got some at the Chinese supermarket[spring rolls] and the darn things need to be deep fried, the Vons brand are deep fried, and require only an oven to be returned to a state of yumminess.
Blessed be...
After all that, I guess I'm having asian tonight too
