heres a link where you can get a free sample of greenies. its really easy. i have been curious about them and thinking about getting some . they sell them at my vets office, but this way i can try the sample first and see how my dogs like them.
i havent tried them for my dogs yet. my dogs will eat just about anything though. they really love the bullsticks or as i prefer to call them "bully-icks". i like to give them those because they will occupy themselves with them for hours on end and i dont have to chase them away from the coffee table legs. lol
I get trinity a giant meaty bone. She loves those. Have you tryed meaty bones yet. They got trinity to stop getting in to the garbage. She loves them and it takes forever for them eat all of it.
Dusty, we were like you before we tried them - a wee tad hesitant. We got small ones at PetsMart for $.99 and brought it home to Ivan and Piper. It was like catnip for dogs! Our dogs totally went into Greenie Mode...lol
They sell those Greenies at the vets near me and for the largest size its £6 which is alot for something harvey will destroy and eat in seconds. I do get him the odd one but i mainly give him huge raw bones from the butchers which he gives away for free. Harvey wil sit with one of those for a very long time.
same here barnabbus. Trinity can never get enough and always freaks out when she hears the bag she always so funny to watch when the grenie bags come out. She does circles in front of me and goes through all of her tricks without me saying a thing. She keeps doing this till i give her a greenie. LOL
i sent for a free sample anyway. i'm sure my dogs will love them. they are food pigs. i have to be careful with some stuff though. they are a bull breed with the big wide mouths and i dont want to give them anything that might choke them. i heard about a frenchie in california that choked to death on a piece of nylabone that had broke off. so i am leary of what i give them.
We used to give Lola the greenies, but she ends up sticking the whole thing down her throat....(I've noticed she does it with bones that are small enough and pieces of the big bones she breaks off) So we started buying DentaGreen or something like that. They are green but have the shape of the "bone" they break apart relatively easily for her so she can't stick it down her throat.
