An atheist was spending a quiet day fishing when suddenly his boat was attacked by the Loch Ness monster. In one easy flip, the beast tossed him and his boat high into the air. Then it opened its mouth to swallow both.
As the man sailed head over heels, he cried out, "Oh, my God! Please help me!"
At once, the ferocious attack scene froze in place, and as the atheist hung in mid-air, a booming voice came down from the clouds, "I thought you didn't believe in Me!"
"Come on God, give me a break!!" the man pleaded. "Two minutes ago I didn't believe in the Loch Ness monster either!"
As for believing in the loch ness monster: I went up to scotland on holiday about a year ago and when to see the lake where nessy is supposed to live.. I saw nothing but the whole area has a sense of mystery and suspense in the air. I have watched several programmes here where they scanned the whole lake top to bottom and done several dives but to find nothing.
The lake itself is amazingly huge and the depth is beyond belief so alot of peole say its just hiding..
And the way the water breaks with a certain combination of shadows out in the lake makes it look asthough somethings out there..its a mystery to me lol
Not to on anyone's parade, but I am in the Skeptics club[that meets at Cal Tech, CA]... Nessie has been disproved in our "Junior Skeptic" magazine rather thoroughly, but I am glad that tourism over there has enjoyed her benefits....
lol kitty.. i think it would have been found by now if there was such a monster. So tuna you can go ahead but if you do find it you will be the most famous man on the earth
The tourism is pretty huge surrounding that area but there has been abit of ill feeling with the press as they are get money from lies as it were.. but hey we all need to make money one way or another and they go there on there own free will lol
~I think the problem with these sightings is more a trick of the mind..many people go there hoping and praying that they see something and they come back saying 'wow i saw this beast with a long neck' but its nothing more than an over-exited imagination and a few waves with shadows
i agree, it seems like if there really were a loch ness "monster" it would have exposed itself by now.. i guess it gives some people something to look for when they visit there. i am more a seeing is believing type.
yep they have had the most hi-tech equipment out there and found nothing. They say what people are probably seeing is some massive fish that inhabit the lake
