accidentally clicking on the "list all users" link because thats where the "Main Page" link use to be?..lol. I've clicked the damn thing a hundred times tonight...
i've been doing it too. it will just take time getting used to it. i was looking all over for the game links at the bottom too before i realized that they were on the top where it says forum arcade now. lol but i like the new look better.

Kitty, you are right, "conditioned" is exactly what it is called. We condition our brains to send and act on certain impulses before we realize it.
Conditioning is the process of learning associations. Classical conditioning is when we learn to associate two stimuli and anticipate events. For example, we learn that when we see lightning, we will also hear thunder and so we learn to 'brace' ourselves when we see lightning.
Operant conditioning is when we learn to associate a response and its consequence and then repeat the acts which are followed by rewards and ignore the acts which are followed by punishment (this is how children and pets learn).
What we are doing is Operant conditioning...lol - We click a link in a certain area (response) and are taken to the main page (consequence). Our brains are conditioned to believe the link is located in the same area (because we are use to going there), and therfore we habitually click there, hoping to achieve the results of returning to the main page.
Now that you have had your daily Psych lesson, I am going to return to the Main Page, via the List All Users link...lol
