I am going back up there on the 12th of this month. And I was wondering are there any good used bookstores up there. I know how to get to MCG and the Mall. But thats about it can anyone help me out.

Pitsanddobes lives in Augusta. I think she may be out of town right now, though... Still she might could tell you what you need to know if she happens to check in.

I as of yet had to go to Atlanta. And hope I don't ever have to. (No offense) This is for my son to see his specialist. And everytime I go I try to enjoy myself after the appts. Augusta is a long enough drive...I can not picture going to Atlanta...

YES! I do livein augusta go to down town augusta on broad street there are nothing but cafes antique shope and books galore! LOL

For the four months that the hubby and I were there in Augusta...I found MAYBE 2 bookstores.  We didn't go downtown much, but I had gone on to Yahoo and did a local search in augusta for some and there were very few used.  The 1 that I did go into which was on Bobby Jones Expressway in front of the Walmart & TSC area seemed a little high priced for me and didn't have anything I would have read.     Like i said though, was only there for 4 months (glad to be outta there....ewww papermill!  Sorry pits) and we didn't make it downtown to just wander and look around.

We were there from March of this year until the end of June.  We walked the RiverWalk once in March, but we only had Lola and didn't take her with us.   It would have been fun to get together, I would have had a friend!!!   But I wasn't even able to post here until the beginning of June or so :(
