Saturday July 30th was my youngest daughter's birthday. She turned 2. We went to my families in TN to celebrate. We were there for over a week and we had a wonderful time. I miss my family so much. I hate living so far from them. Anyway here are a few pictures of her on her birthday.
This one is her blowing out the candle on her birthday cake.
These next 3 are of her in her party dress at her birthday dinner later that evening.

So that my older daughter isn't left out here is a picture of her during the week. I don't have a good picture of her in her formal dress or I would post it for you. Her dress was just beautiful!

Oh How adorable! Makes me almost want to try for a girl! I love all the girly clothes. With boys you have to get suits that they always hate to wear, at least girls like to dress up! lol
They also don't get dirty. Gillian made it through dinner without getting dirty or ripping that dress. Kaitlyn also made it without getting hers dirty. For some reason the only pictures I have of her in her formal dress she is wearing my aunts sweater that is 10 sizes too big. She got cold and I didn't manage to get any pictures of her before that. I was too busy eating! HA HA!

your daughters are soooooo pretty ! . i have three boys and three girls. all grown. i would have to say that my girls were easier to raise when they were young, but get the most expensive when they are teens. they need so much more than boys do. lol . enjoy them while they are young, they grow up so fast.
I see pictures of peoples daughters and I think, awww they're so cute....Thank god they aren't mine. (no offense) I like little girls, goodness I was one. But I know what kind of a little girl I was, and I suspect my daughter would be too much like me....NO DRESSES, NO JEANS!!! Only shorts, because "Its hot mommy!!"" Whine whine whine....lol Hubby wants girls, but give me boys any day. I dont have to worry about them themselves getting preggy. In my family it's all girls, even my dad is an honarary girl! The first boy in our family (besides the brother-in-laws and husband) is my nephew. I keep telling hubby if we end up with two girls, I WILL adopt a boy.
Thanks so much! I love them. They are my most precious. I look at them and I am so proud of myself. They are growing up beautifully. They both have very different personalities and I love them both in different special ways but I love them both the same obviously.
Actually both girls look exactly like me. In that picture Kaitlyn looks more like her dad but in person they are both clones of me. I look at babies pictures of them and I don't know which is which sometimes. Isn't that awful? Than if you throw my picture in there it's that much worse. The only way I can tell them apart in baby pictures sometimes is their clothes. I have to remember who wore what as a baby sometimes.
My mom made the cake. My mom recently retired and took a part time job at Wal-Mart and she works in the bakery so she made the cake for us there. It was actually very good.
lil exorcist I know what you mean about them getting pregnant. However, I always look at it this way. I would rather not have the boy and have someone's father come knocking on my door. I would rather do the knocking or my husband really. If it happens it happens. There won't be anything I can do about her getting pregnant. I will do my best to teach them right from wrong. I messed up from time to time and I'm sure they will too. It won't ruin their life if it happens like so many people think. I'll just have to help her out so that she can still get a good education. I've thought this through a lot. I just hope they mess up in some other ways than that. Obviously there are things that could be a lot worse that I wouldn't want to happen but there are things that wouldn't be as bad that I would rather happen.

Happy late birthday!!! That dress is adorable. I could never let my daughter wear something like that. It would be so stained by the end of the evening. So what cool toys did she get? My daughter, Kaitlyn, is turning 4 on Sep. 22. I can't wait. She has been asking for a puppy but thats not going to happen.
Very pretty little girlie girls. I used to wake up early throw on pants or shorts and go to school, so's my step mom would not make me put on a dress. I hated them with a passion. On occasion she caught me and I was forced. But I had my handy dandy shorts on underneight. LOL I was such a tomboy. Ran around like a crazy loon. I had such fun. LOL
I asked all of my family to get her ABC toys. She loves the ABC's and she knows the song and she knows just about all of her letters by sight. She's such a smart little girl. Supposedly she's supposed to be behind in her mentality and with a few things she is but she's so smart in other areas it doesn't really show.
Gillian loves Dora. She got a lot of Dora presents also. She's not really into the princesses yet but my 6 yr. old is.
I was a big tomboy also. My older daughter doesn't mind wearing dresses and skirts but the 2 yr. old hates it. We always have had a formal party on our daughter's birthdays after their regular birthday party and we take everyone out to dinner. It was a fight to get that dress on her but once we got it on she was okay with it. I was so afraid she would try to get it off and rip the bottom.
