LOL we take part in the creation loop every day in someway. Especially when we have children but cloaning to me is bizarr. As for the clone well they can be an identical replication of the origional but they are not the same in every way. For example each of us has a good and bad side ot us. Many people are really sweet and kind and would never be cross or cruel to someone but the closne may not be that way. The clone does not have the life expierences the origional has. The development of the thought process and ideals and memories the origional has would not be part of the clone therefore the clones personality may be very different.

Take the issue of a childs pet. Lil susie may ave been really close to fido and fido loved and protected her but fidos clone may not hold the same love and devotion that the origional did.

I cant imagine how it would be if they were cloaning people or animals on a reg basis. Imagine it, I mean my hubby and i reminis about funny things said and done in the past... "remember when you did this or said that" would be impossable if I lost him and had his clone. The cloned him would be like "umm no what are you talking about?" And lil susie would be mighty upset when fido all of a sudden chewed her favorite doll! LMAO this is getting really deep now but see my point?

I would have to say that cloaning as a means to cloan vital organs needed to save a life is one thing but it would never end there and I say this as a mother who surely would not want her child to die for lack of a heart or kidney donar... then again if we just keep replacing spare parts at an alarming rate which would be the case if this were done as a general practice then our world would get very crouded!

Everything on this earth is here for a time and nothing is meant to last forever except memories and love. Why there is a need to mimic our creatof is beyond me.

I totally agree pits. There are so many views you can agree with. Plus if you clone the dog a diesease that might have been dormant in the original dog might not be dormant in the clone.
