I need help burning a cd. i have already ripped the cd into my library and I'm in the part where I can burn it but when I click start burn this message pops up.
Windows Media Player encountered an unknown error. This can occur when another program or operating system component encounters a problem but does not communicate the nature of the problem to the Player.
Can anyone help me? The only 2 cd burning progrmans I have are nerosmart and windows media and for some reason I can't get neither to work. It been about a year since I've burned a cd on my computer so might just be me.
i cant help you there. we have cds burners on both ours and kaylas comp, but seldom use them anymore.try shutting down your whole system and starting again. or media player itself might be having problems and you'll have to wait awhile and try again later. hopefully you wont have to reinstall the player itself. thats a pain.
I shut down my computer. I think i might have to reinstall it. But first I'm going to see if I can burn a different album on to this disc if so then it might just be something else.
I burn CDs all the time. But we use limewire and then all teh music gets saved on a flie somewhere. But the program we use to burn is called RecordNow its a Sonic Solutions thingy. But it came on the computer. Good luck...
Thanks for the help at the time I have completely given up on figuring it out. I figured that if I call my friend tomorrow when his off he can just copy it for me.
I use soulseek to download music and musicmatch jukebox to burn. I have tried all the other cd burning programs and i like musicmatch the best. Very easy burning program to use.
hopefully its nothing wrong with your player. although they are not as expensive as they used to be. kayla's computer has a dvd player in hers and quinn wants to get a dvd burner to put in this one. i dont know why, its not like he's going to actually burn anything and i know he wont sit at the comp to watch movies. as it is he rarely burns any cd's anymore.
i am not very computer smart. i learn as i go and if i get myself in a mess, i have to get quinn to come and fix it. i just recently learned how to delete the cookies without wiping out everything else along with it.
Lol PD. Yes, I'm very lucky in that area since one of my really good friends and also my brother both work in computers. Maybe that's why I'm so lazy to learn about them...because they can do it all for me, hehe.
I don't know what it is, I just have never been into computers. Like how they work and such. I know just enough to come on the internet. I can actually navigate the internet pretty well. But ask me how to fix something or how to run a program or install something and I have no clue. I didn't even know what 'avatars' were until just a few months ago, lol.
