.. i never knew whether to bring up redneck things before as i dint want to offend anyone.. but my idea of a redneck is some one wearing a truckers shirts, marlboro cap and a shotgun in the back of his truck
that fits the description pretty close of my son-in-law. tim also drives around in a beat up 4x4 with a confederate flag hanging in the rear window. he thinks life after work is fishing and running around in the hills trying to see if he can roll his truck a few more times. lol
it reminds me alot of my grandparents house when i was a kid. they always had alot of dogs lounging around. you always had to step over or around them when you went to visit.
See theres a difference, there's Rednecks down south and Hicks up north. BIG difference! Hick from up north have plade flannel shirts and over alls with a straw hat and some beat up boots.
Rednecks down south have Tight wranglers on a I'd rather be fishing shirt, cowboy hat cowboy boots, a truck lifted about 4-5 feet in the air with a gun rack with 2-3 shot guns, dog cages in the back, A big Reble flag, with dip marks all the way downt he driver side. Yes I live in redneck country, can you tell! I see them everday!
Both sounds sort of like texas. In texas there is a law stating that if you traspass onto someones property without there permission or if they don't know you then we have the right to shot. Thats why you see signs out here that say treaspassers will be shot. LOL
my son-in-law definately can be classified as a redneck then. he also has a bumper sticker stuck on the back window of his truck that says 100% redneck ! lol
i dont mind the redneck sticker. i dont care for the confederate flag though. i think it would bother some people and is kind of like asking for trouble. its not something i would have on any of my vehicles or even in my house for that matter.
thats why i wont ride in his truck with him. if he goes down for having that, i dang sure dont want to be with him. they had a thing at kaylas high school about that flag. this area out here has alot of farm kids. some of them were wearing confederate belt buckles and hats and stuff. it caused quite a stir and they banned them. i didnt think they were appropriate either.
