Stupid me, Dye

LOL, today I decided to re-dye a purse for a co-worker of mine.  Its coming along great. But I just can not remember to put my gloves back on.  Soon I will have black hands.

my daughter dyed her jeans in my washing machine and didnt tell me. she used a navy blue ritz dye.the next load i washed was whites. well i dont have to tell you what color my whites came out . i was going nuts trying to figure out what happened to the clothes until i saw the box of dye on top of the dryer !  bleach didnt even get it all out. that stuff is so messy.

I have never heard of dying clothes in a washer. Does it really work? I wouldn't do it cause i would get beat by my mother for it. LOL

i thought it was gonna be some hair dyeing disaster when i opened this post and it made me think of the time when my hair was a strange shade or orange

i use the washing machine alot to re-dye some throws which i have..i always run the machine on a empty wash when im done to make sure that any dye thats left over is washed away

Ya know, Puttin, that people just may think you have just robbed a bank or one of those check cashing places. They put dye on certain stacks of bills that's suppose to leave dye on the perpetrators hands so they can be easily I.D.

You just may have someone slap a pair of cuffs on you and say, "Book her, Dano!!"

I also thought hair dying booboo. I am coloring my hair right now....of course the same color because I can't afford to mess up with a new one. I also think I dyed my bathroom in the process. I know with hair dye alcohol usually does the trick when getting off your hands.

I never thought of that Pitz, LOL Isn't that dye blue???

I have always wanted to try dyeing in the washer but since its my landlords, I am not too sure about it.  Does the dye all come off when you do the empty run of it?

Its leather dye that I am using by the way.
