i went to the store yesterday. it was sooo hot. almost 90 . i just went in to safeway for a few things. when i started to get out of my car, i noticed a pitbull in the car next to me. he had his head stuck out the window, gasping for air. i went in the store and described the vehicle to an employee and told him about the dog.i heard him call for the owners over the intercom. i was in the store another 20 minutes or so and when i got to my car, the dog and vehicle were still there, but no owner.so i called the police from my cell and they got there in a matter of minutes !! the store guy had brought out some water and he was lapping it up like crazy. when i left, the police were in the store looking for the owner and they were really mad. it had to be stifeling hot in that car, how can people be so stupid. i hope they got a big fat ticket !

I have NO idea Dusty... but errrr it really gets my noodle when I see that! I have called the police countless times.. and been cursed out just as many. ( I stay until the situation is resolved completely-- so I meet the owners... face to face)

Here in dallas the police don't do anything about dogs in cars.

i would have stayed but i had my baby grandson with me and it was sooo hot. he was really getting fussy. i knew the police had it under control. if i had been by myself i darn sure would have stayed and gave them a piece of my mind !

I wish the police where like that here but of course here instead of dogs being left in cars little children are left in the cars.

I would like to have seen the cops break the window and let the dog out of the car to teach that idiot a lesson.  i woulda atleast taken the dog out and tied her infront of the store, but i THINK FIRST about where im going before i load up nora and wont take her anywhere i cant let her out at

oh i have seen worse around here. i followed a guy one day who had two big dogs, looked like yellow labs. they were in the back of his truck and he was doing about fifty on a bumpy highway that is under construction. i didnt want to get too close in case one went flying out . i didnt want to run any dogs over. he pulled into the drive through at mcdonalds and i had him ! boy did he get an earful !! i didnt know it at the time, but the guy behind me, and i might add, a very BIG guy ! was following him too and he was even madder than me. he let him have it too ! the guy with the dogs looked like he was gonna start crying. but he got out and put his dogs in the front with him. i just cant handle stupid pet owners. gggrrrrrrrrrr

lol pd ! i had to wait until he stopped somewhere to catch his ass ! thank god the big guy was following him too. i think thats the one that scared him. lol

it would have been funny if i wasnt so pissed off.  lol . he asked the guy if he had a dam pilot liscense the way he was flying down the highway .and he didnt see no parachuttes on either one of the dogs. lol .  i was trying not to laugh at some of the stuff he was saying. lol

he was saying all kinds of stuff. he reminded me alot of that comedien, larry the cable guy, but he was cracking me up when i was trying to be serious. but he sure scared that guy into putting his dogs up front. the owner of the dogs probably thought we were two psychopaths that were out to get him.  lol

I go insane at people when i see them leave dogs in the car.. i have called the rspca before ..people are so stupid and ignorant betyond words/


There was an incident here ages ago about a baby who died of the heat because the mum LEFT A BABY in the car whilst she went shopping on a boiling hot day with no windows open. The baby actually cooked to death ..sick, stupid bloody woman


I have been known to give mega outbursts of rage when i see people hit there dogs and kids when the child and dogs have done nothing wrong is just the peoples impatience
