Well a week ago Harvey decided to chew on my fave shoes that looked great with anything and everything and ripped them to pieces... I was gutted but it was my fault as i left them out ...
well i looked around the shops and couldnt find a pair anywhere like them.. Michael asked me to look on ebay to find a Midi-moto for a friend and thats where it all started to go wrong
I was bored waiting for the midi-moto to end so i started checking out the other stuff on ebay and thought i would look at the shoes for sale..and there out of the light shone the pair of shoes of my dreams
Brand new in the box designer shoes starting at only £7.99 well this is where my conscience started kicking in struggling with the good and bad inside of me ..the bad won and i won the shoes after some frantic bidding oh and then i found some great new tops and had to have them aswell ... well i spent quite alot to day
The problem is i gotta tell michael when he gets in ..time for those puppy eyes i think
i think after this time im defiantely gonna be from ebay lol
That is why I stay away from ebay. Bad stuff can happen there.. or rather here with my bank account. LOL!!! But thats great you found your dream shoes. I went shopping on Friday and I spent only a little over 200 dollars. It was tax free weekend in Texas, and I also got 10% off my purchases because I got approved for a charge card at the department store. But I saved 109 dollars.
wow tax free weekend .we have huge savings on bank holidays ..thats when i really should be chained to the sofa lol..
The shoes were defiantly worth the money ..i ended up paying £ 12.oo for them with postage an in the shops they are £70.00 ~ bargain
Im cooking michael his favorite dinner tonight and the house is immaculate ..i've even hung his clothes up for him.. (he usually hangs them up on the floor)..this combined with my puppy eyes is a killer combination
They whole plan is to tell him how much you saved. That always works with Brad. Who care that I spent 200 it could have been 300. He always is impressed when I save over a hundred. LOL!!
yeah i never thought of that lol... that could defiantely work. my usual trick is to say ive had them ages but i just never got round to wearing them I always end up telling him the truth though like 5 minutes later
LOL, Twink thats sooo funny. BUT you are normal my dear. What women can resist a good deal?? It seems you did not spend very much. My boss is hooked on ebay. Its like xmas everyweek for him. Keeps him happy. Actually he is an all over shopaholic. LOL
If I am looking for something alls I have to do is ask him. He makes daily trips to the swapmeets too.
Hey twink, My aunt in London called me yesterday. I was surprised. She was telling me about her hubbys sister that he never knew he had. What a shock that must have been to him.
Plus all the family catching up. Huge partys she throws.
A couple guys I work with sell stuff on ebay. They have suppliers, but they also go to the local Ross store[outlet for name brand stuff unsold in malls] and pick up stuff and then list it. They make quite a bit of money sometimes... They tell me that the bidding wars between people is where all the money gets good. People get hooked on it, just like gambling.
Puttin~ Thats must have been a huge shock to find out he had a sister how old is she? how did he not know ws there some break up down the line and she kinda got lost?
My bio-logical 'father' has seen me once since he left nearly 14 years ago..by chance he was working by my house (when i was 22) cutting down a tree (hes a tree-surgeon) and i couldnt believe it when i saw the old family name on his work van..i hardly recognized him..but he didnt recognise me atall..i guess he was still thinking he would see alittle 9 yr old girl in front of him not a young woman He last saw me when i was 9 and never made any attempt to contact me ..but thats fine by me lol ~ he was a abusive man to us all. I stopped long enough to say "Hi im your daughter Nicola..remeber me ?" and to see his jaw hit the floor and start mumbling.. we didnt swap numbers or make any further arrangements but i know he did say he has got 4 sons..i often wonder if they know about me..they must be in their late teens now. I last saw him drive past when i was at a roundabout.
My uncle is 61 and back when is mom was a teen she got pregnant not once but twice. Both were put up for adoption because his grandma made his mom do it. Once had since past away. the one that had past had a husband that played in some band and they unknowingly saw him perform at a club my aunt and uncle go to. They got to meet her not long ago. She lives like 6 hours away.
Men can be so weird, I think sometimes they think they can't do much or know what to do for a child so they do nothing. My ex is guilty to a degree of doing this. He see's the boys every other weekend, but I could have used some help with their schooling and things like that. He just has them over and does the fun things.
Must have been a shock to see your pops. I know if I saw mine now, he'd look very old as I have not seen a picture of him for a few years now. When you get older and you miss a few years, you can really tell. I'm sure I look different too though.
Do you know anyone in London by the last name of Goble? Did I ask you that already? I'll have to get my cousins hubbys last name too. She got married, its been awhile since I heard from them.
yeah it defianelty was a shock to see him .but he was absolutely speechless lol. havent stayed in contact though i would rather stick pins in my eyes than do that lol.. My mum re-married 13 years ago and from day one he was the most amazing man. He was 25 and divorced (he also has a daughter but hasnt seen her for 13 years..she was a toddler when he left and the wife said he was allowed no contact atall for no reason!) Well theres not many 25 year olds like my dad that would have taken on 2 mature children as his own blood. Hes biologically not my father but he is in my eyes and always will be I kinda forget about my bio-logical father..hardly ever think of him only when someone mentions the name David
I dont know anyone by the name of Goble's sorry ..londons a huge place lol and i live nearly 2 hours drive away
i used to do the same thing, only my problem was my bearly people bears. quinn would blow a gasket. i got into a online bidding war with one lady over a bear i just had to have. and ended up paying 125.00 for it. i had to smooch up for a long time over that one.
well i told michael and he was fine  he guessed straight away that i had bought something as when he came home i said 'i love you darlin, missed ya' and immediately he said 'what have ya bought' lol ..i always tell him i love him when he gets in so it must have been the immaculate house and his faourite dinner on the table ..
$125 dollard yikes ..hope it was worth it..
I always wait till the last 8 seconds and put in my maximum bid ..works every time lol
Oh lord! Don't get my on eBay! My hubby is a eBayaholic! Can't keep him off! He spends at least 100 a week and thats a cheap week! But I don't complaine to much cause he sells just about as much as he spends. I on the other hand can never seem to find anything I want and when I do I forget when it ends and miss out!
My hubby doesn't trip to bad when I buy things cause he knows he'll never hear the end of it. He buys buys and buys then calls me at work and says don't be mad! First thing outta my mouth is what did you buy! LOL
Speaking of EBay Imma go see what I can buy! LOL! Payday is comming! LOL I'm so bad!
i love ebay i have gotten alot of things from there as a matter of a fact i have a new printer-fax-scanner-copier coming from there to me very soon. i find lots of deals on my sons ps2 games in there also.
There was an article on ebay in the paper not too long ago and they were saying that the best time is Monday mornings at about 3am to grab the bargains that people have listed and due to some error in listing them..they finish early in the morning when a majority of people are sleeping I have yet to try it though.
