OH, thats right up my ally. i would definatly love to get in on something like that. ive always wanted to play survivor and be the guy who has all the secret aliances lmao. ooohhh, i cant wait. hehe

I wouldn't participate, just not my thing, but I might enjoy reading along. I am assuming it would be in one thread, not mystery members all over the whole forum and a sudden disappearance of people under the usernames that we know...

TW, Ansy and I won't be playin'. She has the unfair advantage of seeing IP's and figuring out who people are and we don't want to do that....ok....we do, BUT its not fair to the others...lol so neither of us will be playin'.

Ansy will serve as ChenBot (what we call Julie Chen) and just kind of guide things along. I do know that there will be HOH's, Veto's, and nominations....but I'm not sure how she will get conversations 'going'. There has to be conversation going on for people to know who to lie, cheat, and kanive (ok..I know I didn't spell that right) on.

It won't be on this forum either....a separate one that is used only for that. Something tells me that this could be really fun or go really wrong...lol, but she likes taking risks. The thing is....it can't be taken personal....and there isn't really any need to take it that way cuz if someone gets nasty with you......they aren't gonna know who they are getting nasty with......so when its all over and the players are exposed people will have to remember that and take it for what its worth.

I prefer Survivor myself, but there is no way to starve any of you.....lol

well, if i were on the computer more it would definetly be something that i would be interested in! if this does happen, when are you planning on starting this game? cause if things have calmed down around here by the time the game starts i would love to play!

I'd say lets go for it if things go wrong in any way the whole thing can just be deleted..i need something to keep me entertained.

I think this is a great idea. Sounds really fun! I hope I am on enough to get to play! I plan on it, but this working thing is really cutting into my computer time...lol

Ok....I believe we have enough people so that we can do this. I am going to make a separate forum called the Furum Houseguests Forum on which we will play the game. I will link it from this page so its easy to access.

You will be able to view it and not play (if you just wanna watch whats going on), but you will have to register because the FHF will be closed to public viewing. If you watch, you cannot register under your regular username because it will narrow down the field as to who is playing....... I recommend names like Viewer1, Viewer2, and so fourth. If one is already taken, just try another number. If you play, you will have to come up with a totally different username that does not reflect any names already in use here.

As far as typing styles.....someone brought that up. Well, thats just part of it. Someone may recognize you by your typing format....so be careful when typing. Change things up. It is not required that you lie and cheat in the game, but it may be hard to get to the end without doing so because sometimes promises (alliances) must be broken to get yourself to the end.

There will be things you will need to participate in if you wish to secure yourself in the 'House'. I know everyone can't be on at the same time so events such as HOH/Veto may take a few days to complete and determine a winner. I want to give everyone a chance to participate.

Once a HOH has been determined, a date will be set in which the HOH will publicly post the 2 nominated players. There will be moderate moderation on the FHF such as for explicit vulgarity.

Calling people "out" and exploiting their tactics, moves, plans is all part of this game. Public posts will be needed for that. Not everything can be done in PM.

Barnabbus and I will not be playing, but we will monitoring IP's to make sure people are playing fairly (making sure someone doesn't sign up more than once, etc).

I welcome you to invite people from other boards to play as well. Anyone is welcome to participate. Yes......anyone. If too many players sign up, I may have to limit the number of players so that the game doesn't last forever, but I don't see that happening on our first go-round.

As soon as I get the board made, I will post it here. The rules of the game will be posted on the FHF. This game will last for over a month. If you cannot commit to that, then you may just want to watch.

I would think that until the first 2 people are nominated that the board would be pretty quiet. Once the first nominations have been made then I'm sure talk will be made about that. Everything can't be done in PM because there will just be some things that you will want the whole board ot see.

Also, people can be devious....lol.....you know.....like posting PM's from others that tell the board what is going on. If someone who isn't in your alliance PM's you, I don't see a rule that says you can't lfat out post it on the board for everyone else to see.....which could hurt that person alliance and put them on the chopping block. Of course, that person could always come back and say that they never sent that PM.........and there is discussion/argument # 1.

For example, if I were playing and you PM'd me, I could post on the board that you are really Pretty Dobie and that you said you wanted to form an alliance with me and vote out Tuna chaser, whose username is XXXX, because he is a threat to you as a player. Whether you PM'd me or not....it doesn't matter...lol. The real BB game is all about lies and broken promises. Its the sneakiest liar who usually gets to the end. They spend their whole game telling others how much they didn't lie......when thay have been all along. It's really about how many people you can get to trust you.

Another thing is that if you are too quiet and never post on the board, people may think you are just trying to fly by on the radar....and get through the game that way. That alone could be reason enough to go up on the chopping block.

The fact is, people who form alliances will probably tell each other who they really are. When it gets down to the last 5 people or so, is when you'll really see the good stuff...lol. At some point, someone is going to have to break an alliance or nominate a 'friend'. Hopefully, sparks will fly at that point.

There are many imaginative ways to get a discussion going.....lol

Ask people blunt questions on the board and see what kind of answers you get.
