I have (want) to get a new dress for my sister in laws wedding. I have picked out 2 so far. I am going shopping not this weekend but next. I am going to DC so I can go to the Vera Wang boutique. Shes my favorite. I love her. Here are the 2 I've picked so far to try. Which one do you guys like better?
What about this one? I'm going to be posting dresses now for the next week. This is going to be the wedding of the century. This thing is outrageous. I think the guest list is around 350 and she's not finished yet. My girls are the flower girls. We are going to Brooklyn next week to get them fitted for their dresses. I am a reader and the bridal attendant. I get to pick my own dress as long as its within the color brackets which is anything fall colors. Its going to be a lot of fun. My wedding would have been like this too but I put my foot down and wouldn't let her get involved. I love her don't get me wrong and we get along great but when she plans a wedding its her wedding, not the people getting married.

I would have to say the second one. But don't take my opinoin LOL I have totally different taste! I love V. Wang but i guess those 2 don't really catch my eye that much, but if I had to pick like I said I would pick the second one.
LOL Don't go by what I say i'm just bored and babbling at this point!
I think your dress choice should go on your body type. Dress #2 is beautiful, but takes a near perfect body to wear it. It is a very clingy material that will show off the frame of your body. If you are quite thin, I'd say go for it. Any pudge in the belly/hips and I wouldn't choose this one (and thats why I'll never be wearing one like that....lol.....as much as I love it, I don't have the body for it).
Dress # 3 is a very similar material/style and should also be worn with only certain body types.
Dress # 1 is very elegant and able to be worn with more flexible body types. I love the simpleness of it, yet it is still very elegant.
Dress # 4 is the "you can't go wrong" dress because of its empire waist.....it will not show off or accent any extra pounds at the hips/waist/belly. It is still very sexy and elegant because of the sleeveless top. You could even pull this off with slightly chubby arms and still make it look like a million bucks. I love the colors on this dress. Definitely Fall colors. This dress wouldn't be a good choice if you have large breasts. It accents the bust too much and large breasts will only draw more attention there.
Since I don't know your body size/frame it's hard to say. If you are sleek and slender - go for 2 or 3 (my first choice being 2).
If you are a little curvy - go for 1 or 4 (don't really have a preference of the two....love them both....so I would decide based on breast size).
If you come across others you like......please post them. I love looking at things like this.
I could pull off 2 or 3. I'm curvy with no pudge. However, I'm very self conscious so I'd just have to try the dresses on to see how I felt. Thanks for all of the help. I'm going to keep looking.

I like V. Wang, I hate polyester. The 1st one would look better on you, the second would not be good. Too much satin, it is more formal, but it has a Greecian neckline that the model's tan lines don't match.
The #3 is gonna take a drop of oil and make it into a mountain. Anything you touch, you will wear. Of the lot, so far, I like #4. And, Ido know what you look like, I am not forming this opinion from my own features. Did you get a tan? I love the doe, tan, chocolate, but are you still fair colored? It may be a factor in the decision.
OH my god they are all gorgeous..but i love number one..it looks very sophisticated. I dont know your lifestyle but it looks like the sort of dress you can wear to a few occasions. I love brown and always find it a great colour against my fair skin and blonde hair. If i wore the pale dresses i would look completey washed out
Have you tried e-bay Z&T ..im a sucker for saving a few pennys lol i took a quick look and theres alot on there from u.s.a sellers which have never been worn and still have the tags on!
