I took Lana, Syd, and Hyde to the dog park yesterday. After we stopped by a friends house. He has a pool and two labs who love jumping in the deep end chasing after toys thrown in. So I put Hyde on the steps of the pool and he jumped in and started swimming! Then he got out and was so hyper he was tearing around my friends backyard, then proceeded to play in dirt, and was the dirtest dog I have ever seen.
Syd was watching all this and after about 30 min, Syd jumped into the pool in the deep end. At first I got nervous cause I never saw her in a pool before and I went over to get her but she swam around and went to the steps! It was a doggie pool party! Everyone went in the water but Lana. It was so much fun and it was cool to see my babies actually swimming around and having a great time! Next time I hope I remember my camera.
I would love to see photos of them all swimming. You should try putting lana on the steps and see if she will go in. LOL trinity won't go in any kind of water where she can't touch the bottom.
Nothing more fun than water and dirt... Except afterwards, when you can't figure out how you got all this stuff on you, and why mommie is laughing so hysterically at you... Oh, and I call that butt-tucking run they do "warp speed"
That sounds like fun.... My sister has not seen Lilly in person yet. Half of me says groom Lilly, get her all spiffed up, BUT She has a pool. AND acts like she would like water around the sprinklers ssoooooooo I may just do both. I want to see what she does.
I've always called it the mad dog dash.....Do big dogs do it too??? I've only noticed smaller dogs, my parents pug, Lola and I believe my in-laws pomerianian (Sp)...oh yeah cant forget my sisters' pom-chi's
We call it the zoomies. LOL!!! When Oscar gets his 165 pound big butt moving you need to move. Here is a pic of him in the zoomies. Its not a clear picture because he is moving so darn fast. He actually doesn't look that big in these. I guess I should have used zoom.
