Shampoo?

What kind of shampoo do you use on your dogs?  I have to find a new one.  When I was cleaning the dogs bathroom today I happened to look at their shampoo bottle.  Now, silly me, I've never read the back of the bottle before because this is what was suggested I use on my dogs at the pet supply store I go too.  I really like them and I trust their judgment as far as food and stuff goes.  Anyway, the back of the bottle talks about how to dispose of the bottle and to be sure I wrap up the bottle before I throw it away and dispose of it as if it were harardous material basically.  I don't want to use this on my dogs anymore.  If they want me to dispose of this the way I would hazardous material I don't find it safe for my dogs.  Can anyone give me any suggestions?  I have to go out today for dog food and a few other things for them so I want to get something when I go out.  Thanks!

Oscar only gets two baths a year. And he never stinks or smells doggy. But when I do bathe him I use my shampoo. And yes, it doesn't dry him out either. Plus my shampoo makes him smell prettier than a dog one would.

I use, Mane and tail, pantene, and johnsons baby shampoo. Plus I think Hartz puppy shampoo.  Mine don't have any bad reactions to any of them. I should say any reactions at all.

My dogs haven't had any reactions either but I couldn't believe what it said on the back of the bottle.  I bought it at PetValu.  I thought I had bought it at the dog supply store I usually go to but my husband reminded me that when we brought Tucker home he was so gross and dirty and I had used up all of the dog shampoo that I usually have and PetValu was the closest one that was opened so I ran in there and grabbed a bottle.  I think it has the warnings on the back because its a flea and tick shampoo.  Tucker was adopted from a farm.  There is a rescue here and a lady and her family run the rescue.  They used to have an actual farm(vegetables and chickens) but they decided not to do that anymore and to run a rescue.  They take good care of the dogs they rescue and alpacas but from living on the farm and in the mud and stuff they get very dirty.  I was afraid he might have fleas so thats why I bought the flea and tick.  I had never read the bottle until the other day and I hadn't thought about it so I had just been using it on everybody.  I went last night and bought a mango shampoo for them.  It smells so good.  Tomorrow is bath day.  I don't look forward to it.

I don't use anything on Argus.  She's five now and has never had a real bath because she keeps herself amazingly clean.  I've hosed her down at the dog park, but by the time we got home, she was always clean again.  Her natural smell is actually quite pleasing.  I sometimes stick my face in her coat because I like the way she smells.

I use Dawn dishwashing liquid on McKeever.  Her skin has never had any sort of a reaction to it, but she doesn't have sensitive skin.

proto, what a good idea.  I think I may try Dawn on Tucker.  He has such a bad odor.  5 min. after he's had a bath the nice shampoo smell is gone and he smells like he hasn't had a bath in years and he's been rolling in poo all of those years.  Somedays its hard to let him around me.  I've had him checked time and time again and there is nothing medical.  He just stinks.
