"Algebra" is a forbidden word on this board.....lol. It brings up feelings of fear. Where is the Grim Reaper? We need to have him slash the word into either "alge" or "bra"........both are more appealing to talk about.....lol
(hope you get some help Zoe....I was just joking.....try www.algebra.com I haven't visited that site, but hear it helps alot of people.)

LOL I'm so with you on this one! I hated any kind of Math in school. I had to take High School Pre Algebra in College! Now Do you think I can help you! LOL. I do have a Algebra book that has all the answers in it from when I was in College.
I am stumped..I know that in your sample problem you have to multiply to get the last number and add to get the first..but it doesnt work out that way in the other problems..usually when that doesnt work you factor it out using Greatest Common factor, but there are none in those problems! I am so lost..I can't remember how to do this, sorry!
Sandy, thats exactly my problem. I can't get the #'s to add up and there is no greatest common factor. It just doesn't make any sense to me. I can't take my quiz until I figure this out because I know that is how all of the problems are going to be. They are always the hardest problems on the quizzes.
