suggestions?

I just brought Hyde home from being neutered and having his hernia repaired. He isnt supposed to be too active, especially right now. I never thought about having my other dogs around him till just now. I have him in a crate, but he is starting to wake up and is crying to get out. I dont want to let him out cause im scared the other dogs will jump all over him or get him excited. Should I let them met one at a time, would that help? Im not sure what to do for the next two days, maybe ill just have to switch them around from outside to in, but then Hyde cant be out unsupervised. All my other dogs are pretty young so they are active and always wanting to play. Any one have a suggestion?

The wisest thing to do is get him used to being crated. Thats what I have done.  Since he just got home, he will not want to play. You can let the others give him the welcome home one at a time. Lilly crated herself after her spay.  She just went on in to relax.  After a few days of that Rufus missed playing. All in all don't let him run and romp till those stitches are out.

Don't give him much water just a  couple sips. Or he WILL vomit it right back up.

Thanks Puttin! I get so worried about him. I was there with him when he was getting it done since I was working. It made me sad, I wish I never saw. I'll definitly keep him crated, except for the night cause he will sleep in my room on the floor.

Sydney was laying in front of his crate after we got home today, it was so cute, she started crying and pawing at the crate which of course made Hyde start crying...lol...gotta love em though!

Thanks agian Puttin!
