Yesterday this giant of a man came in with two pitbulls. One was an adult full grown and gigantic! The other was a puppy, they were getting their shots. As I was checking him out he mentioned something about the puppys ears, saying he was going to get them "fixed" because they are too big and that he wants her to look mean! I couldnt believe it! I told him that they looked so cute they way they were but he didnt care. I couldnt believe this guy, sorry had to rant.
Although I agree people shouldn't want their animals to look mean....I chose Tiki because in her puppy picture because of the markings she looked positively evil. You couldn't (still can't) tell if she's giving you a go to hell look of if she just LOVES you (only by the tail and sometimes not even then lol)
I think only a man with an ego problem needs to have his dog look fierce. A man that is comfortable with himself does not mind what his dog looks like.
