"Bruce"~ Update 8/28/05

. He's doing well ... wants to run and play-play-play... seems to be in no pain. Still on meds... for a few more days... Last night I took his stitches out... he was sO gOOD! stood still while I removed them... what a good boy!     The scare looks bad right now...but hopefully in a few months it will not ...

At this point it is a matter of wait and see.... if I find any more tumors or the one that was removed returns.... > well, I just don't wanna think about that...

You guys... Thanks SO much for letting me Vent... and I am truly sorry for making a scene!

I'm glad to hear he is doing good.  I think scars just show that you have made it through a tough time....

Yea!!!  Lola was the same after her spay, wanted to run and play.  It looked like the vet did kind of a shoddy job but she turned out well with a little scaring (which I think that's natural?)   Hopefully there won't be much of a scar.  But even if there is, He's happy and hopefully next time in will get a clean bill of health!

Glad he's doing better. I know he was dying to have the stitches out! I bet he will heal well, you have been keeping it nice and clean. The hair that grows back on the scar place might be white. Manson had a lot of large boo boos and considering the size of the holes, his scarring is pretty mimimal.

Hi Ivy, He sounds like he is feeling reallllly good.  I was going to say put a shirt on him till the stitches came out, but they are out. I have always wanted to take stitches out myself. I took one out of my lip that the doc did not see and it was easy.

Also I wanted to say sorry for being late to answer on this post.  All three of our hard drives went capoots this weekend. My hubby was on the phone with sbc computer support for about 2 hours trying to fix it. Now we are all using the same hard drive till the others get delt with. I thought I would loose all my favorite sites and pictures. Thank god we did not.

Puttin... no prob... / taking stitches out is EZ... it's getting them to stay still that's hard.. but Bruce was sO good.. it was a breeze ~~

Now putting stitches in is much harder... lol ... in comparison.

Oh about a year ago, my son got a bad gash above his eye. About an inch long. I was able to watch them do the stitches, but Oh my god I almost want to faint watching them take them open.  I kept think , Oh it looks like its going to bust open agian.,  I was getting sick to my stomach light headed. I HAD to sit down. They had to butterfly bandage it. It stayed but the thought of having to do it again just made me sick. LOL

I'm glad Bruce is doing better.  A scar will just show how much character and strength he has.  I hope things continue to go well for him.
