RE: I know we have discussed this already....

Right now the goverment is doing a huge investagastion on the gas companies. They are saying they were price gouging (sp). Here in the state of Florida they said that at not point gas should have been over 3 dollars. They haven't really said much about it, but I know Bush and his brother are all in it, saying that something needs to be done that there is no reason why it's this high.

Hmmm....might have to steal the car from hubby when he gets home from work to go check out gas prices.  Wait!  I have to walk to the pharmecy (sp) today I'll try to remember to check them out then.   of course being in Frederick, MD I suspect its going to be higher than anywhere else, i've seen news reports (not this week, maybe it was last week) that DC has the highest gas prices in the country.   Dangit, now i'm curious, and I know we need gas.

someone mentioned about gas prices not rising until a shipment comes in well then I have to assume if that is true that the stations in chiefland trenton and gainsville florida get shipments every ten minutes because the gas prices went up 8 times in one day here! There is no excuse what so ever for raping the american public like this. We hit 3.29 a gallon here and now it has gone down to 2.89. it amazes me how people will feel relief from this. I mean before this happend gas prices were 2.65 here and that was high compared to last year this time when it was at 1.59. I don't see any relief in gas at 2.89 a gallon. In 2 weeks time it has cost us 254.00 in gas JUST to go to and from work. geeze that is a monthly land payment here. Jobs are scarce here as it is and if I were to get a job having one car in the home we would spend more then we would make. While I feel for the people hit by the hurricane I have to consider also who holds alot of the blame. People were trying to leave even on foot and were told they could not leave unless officials evacuated them and if they tried they would be shot! It was obviouse at one point that katrina was goping to hit hard and where it would hit so why did they scurry at the last minute? I would love to donate more to help but it is a little hard when all my money is going to gas. Hubbys check sometimes is only enough to keep us in food gas and ciggarettes. Then we are broke. We can barely pay our bills. We need to dip into our reserves (lord knows we have quite a bit) and lower the amount we export until we are back on tract.

They are price gouging (sp) if they raise their price and have not recived a shipment. They can be reported. The state of Florida is doing a invagestion right now into that. There were many stations that raised prices without reciving a shipment. I saw it myself at the store across from me. I said something to them and they just shurgged it off, now Circle K is one of the main companies right now under invagastion.

Man I sure as crap can't spell!
