I was just wondering if anyone has any good steak recipes? I love grilling steak but I always use the same marinade, and im looking for another, hopefully something very tasty. So if anyone has any great steak recipes and your willing to share :) could you post it in this thread? pleeeease! Thanks!
I have never had it before but my friend puts fresh squesed lime on the steak then lets it soak and then he grills it. I don't know what it taste like but its sort of sounds good.
Anything tastes good with Kikkoman or Angostura low salt teriyaki sauce, onion powder and course ground pepper... You can skewer the meat in chunks and put zucchini, onion, bell pepper and tomato on the grill with it...wrap it in whole wheat pita bread as you eat it
i,m with kitty. teriyaki sauce is great on grilled steaks and chicken. yummy on pork chops too. we also use the kkikoman brand. it has the best flavor imo. i usually make a pot of rice as a side dish too. we are big rice eaters here. lol

well you have just helped me alot kitty. The weathers hot so its time to bring out the barbecue and thats what im going to cook ~ i cant wait it sounds like heaven
The best marinade i have ever had is from South Africa ~its divine on meat and fish but i dont think you could get it in America unless you have a S.A food supplier
We use nothing but a little salt (to taste) and Montreal Steak Seasonings. It is GREAT on any kind of meat and even macarroni and cheese. Sprinkle steak with Montreal Steak seasonings, cook it 'medium' and ole Ansy here is in HEAVEN.
I usually like to just season my steaks with salt and pepper, then while its on the barby, I saute onions and mushrooms and garlic a plop of butter, with a couple dashes of soy sauce. Then top the steak with all that. Yummy.
You could also do the above, omit the soy and put a tablespoon or so of your favorite wine. Gives it a very uppity flavor.
