I was just thinking the other day about updateed pictures of Hyde. He surely has grown.  He reminds me of an otter hound. Your sister still wants him right? How long will you have him? It is going to be hard to give him up.  Its strange, Most lab-poodles I see look just like Hyed, But I think there is another bloodline or something like that in another country that rears them and they look more like Irish water spaniels. Very odd.  Thanks for all the pictures, that last one is just perfect unity.

Thanks guys. The last pic is my favorite too, thats a usual scene around here, usually there is a couple more cats in the mix...lol.

Puttin...I've never seen an otter hound before, but some people do compare the wirey haired labradoodles to an irish wolfhound. Its funny how F1s(first generations 50%poodle,50%lab)  look compared to the multi generational labradoodles(75%poodle 25%lab). They all look so differnt. In the F1's you never know what you are going to get, they might have a wirey coat when a puppy, but then they blow their coats around 9 months, and can end up lookng completly differnt, with like really curly coats.

I wonder how Hyde's coat will turn out. I hope he keeps the wirey look, i think its kind of cute. He looks so shaggy. Have you ever seen Megbrinks dogs harry and koda? I am hoping Hyde turns out to look like them, they are so cute!

My sister still doesnt know about Hyde, its still a well kept surprise. If it turns out she doesnt want him, which im sure will not be the case, I will keep him. I've grown so attached to him, and him to me. Hes a good boy. Its so weird too me to have such a well behaved puppy, cause Syd was the only puppy i ever had before and she was a complete nightmare! I lucked out!

Here is a side view of an otterhound. They also come in black. He does not look exactly like them just reminded me of it.

I wonder what makes him have wirey haire.  With poodles they have a course hair that runs thruout the coat but it is outnumber by the softer coat, like for every 100 soft there may be 10 to 20 course . But curled. Then labs have not quite course. Too me its not.  Would you consider a labs coat course?

I hope your sister does not go out and get herself a dog. Did she say she would wait for your help.  That is soo sweet of you to get him, and start in off. She won't have to go thru all the tougher puppy stuff. She should kiss the ground you walk on.
