I was just looking at the site Noaa.gov and it appears that this depression will hit just south of me. That is if it stays on its current path. I live a small mobile home and it was damaged last year by the other hurricanes. So I am not to happy about this. So if I get a little quiet around here it will be because i am keeping an eye on this thing. I hope it gets no bigger than it already is.
rebel, if it gets bad to where you are in danger. get out of there. nothing is worth risking your life for. if it comes down to that and you have no place to go, you can come here and stay. family pets and all. dont risk your lives. a home and belongings can be replaced, lives can not.
Thamk you for the offer Dusty. Yes trust me if it even looks like it could become a huricane i'll be getting the heck out of dodge. No doubt. Right now they say it is real unorganized but that does not mean jack. As we all saw with Katrine when she hit FL.
i tell you what my trailer is what I worry about the most even with a depression or tropical storm. It got a pounding last year with all the storms back to back. My floors have hills in them no lie.
Anyways thank for the concern. I will be praying that they all go back to sea and hit no one.
There are 3 right now. One is a offical hurricane and 2 other depression\tropical storms. It's been a busy year and it's not even over yet. I'm in a "lucky"spot I guess you could say. We get winds and rain but nothing that bad! But I'm sure we will get ours and when it happens i'll be outta here!
we live in washington state. we have never had hurricanes or tornadoes. the worst we get is some heavy rainfall at times. but if i were told that something like that was going to hit and we needed to evacuate. i would pack as much as i could between our vehicles and throw in my family, which includes my furbabies, and be gone.i feel for the ones that live in those states that have all them deadly storms. i couldnt live where i had to worry about maybe getting wiped out by something like that. i prefer it right here where the only thing i have to deal with is a little rain now and then.
I am not sure I read where you are from Rebel....I see they are watching Florida again for this new storm. I just caught a couple seconds about it. I am waiting to see what else they say. I did hear they are not even able to say where it is headed. Sheesh....this weither is freaky....
