Tomorrow morning there will be a lot of helping heading up there! They spent the day collecting and pack up Semi trucks and vans full of dog food, shots etc...... They are going to resuce the ones left behind buy their owners when they were resuced. They will be finding the owners and letting them know they have their pets and where they will be. They will not be charging the owners for anything done to the animals while they are being treated.
They were talking to a guy and he said that most of the cats and dogs will stay near their homes waiting for their owners. They will try and identify the pets, tag them, and try and find all the owners. They have quit a few people already in contact with them asking them to find their pets with a discription and names!
I know a lot of you are worried about the pets and I thought I would let you guys know that Hillsborough County Humane Sociaty is sending troops!
although the help is late in coming, if they can even save one , it is worth making the trip. the ones that are gone are gone. nothing can be done about that. but its good to see that they are going in there to get the ones that did survive. thank god for the humane society and all the people that are working together to help.
