summer is endin

So today is another cold and rainy day....blar! I was so busy I hardly got to enjoy summer at all! Plus it is suppose to be another bad winter! I am not excited for that! At least i don't still live in an apartment and have to take my dogs super freaking far away to go to the bathroom.

i am more of a winter person. i dont do well in the heat at all. my doggies are indoor dogs anyway. they only go out to run around for a bit and do their thing. we only live about a half hour-45 minute drive from mount rainier so its fun sometimes to go up and play in the snow.i am soooo looking forward to the end of summer . lol Winter  Snow Day

I'm with you on this one Dusty. I hate summer time. Considering it gets about 115 here during summer. I look forward to Winter every year. Maybe it will snow at least one time this winter. Oscar loves playing in the snow.

I'm always really depressed in the winter.  I hate it.

I'm excited by the cooler temps. I have been scrubbing the kitchen, finished the left side, now for the right...

It could be spring & fall year round as far as I'm concerned.  I absolutely hate winter except I do love the looks of the 1st snowfall - it is beautiful.

Oasis, you lived in Colorado? That's where I am :) Colorado winters only annoy me because it can never decide what it wants to be. It will be blizzard-ing and barely visable the night before and into the morning, and by noon it's like 50-60 degrees and sunny and slushy. I mainly hate the slush. I'm not too fond of snow, but I think if it's going to snow, it should at least stay on the ground a few days.

I used to LOVE summers! But now not so much for some reason. I think it's because I have kids now, and lugging them around in the hot weather and trying to do things in the summer is so annoying. I really like fall now and look forward to Halloween season. I already have my 'fall decorations' up

I actually love the snow....but i also hate the slush. I would have to say that i am usually a winter person over summer because i would rather be cold then hot, but i just didn't really get to do very many summer things this year. I only went swimming once!

Hunter-  I grew up in Longmont and Fredrick (small country town) and later lived in Berthoud and Loveland.  We got so tired of scraping windows and car door locks freezing, and shoveling the car out......lol  And i hated bundleing up just to warm up the car and then striping down again to finish getting ready to leave, then bundleing up again to leave.  Too many layers......lol  We also hated wearing layers because like you said, you never knew what the temp. was gonna be.  I am not happy about the extreme heat here in AZ but i like that i can be active all year round and we got used to the heat ok.  Every where is air conditioned here and we just learn to do yard work early in the am or early evening.  I do miss my family and friends and the mountains in CO. but i will never move back there.  It is a nice place to visit.....

Oasis, I know what you mean about layers. It's annoying with kids too. Especially taking them to school. I live way south of Denver, towards Colorado Springs and we get really bad snow drifts in the winter. So shoveling is annoying. Usually I just wait until noon when it melts, lol.

I have a friend that grew up in Erie. There sure are a lot of homes going up in Longmont.
