should i feed her

at about 3:30 this afternoon Syd threw up a couple times, looked liked some canned food and lots of liquid. Anyway I normally feed her dinner around 5 or 6, should i feed her or skip a meal since she threw up? Thanks

I am not sure....I am sorry that she is not feeling well. I would try and see if she will eat something really bland...or even drink some broth. Good Luck.

she will probably be even more hungry if she threw up her last meal. you guys may laugh at me for this, but it works for me and it worked for rocky when he was sick. i just eat a piece or two of plain bread. when rocky got sick i gave him the same thing. it absorbs the acid in your stomach.

im definetly not going to laugh at you! that's the same thing that we do here.  if someone gets sick, dogs included, they get a piece of bread or some soda crackers! when sandy got sick last week, we gave her some bread, and then she still managed to eat most of her dinner!

My dogsif I don't give them a slice of wheat pita in the morning[or other whole grain bread]. They go out and eat grass, then give me some for myself a couple hours later Easier just to fork over the bread. They get their main meal before sundown[if they're lucky...
Gosh, I hate cleaning dog and cat puke

I've never heard of the bread thing.  Guess I'll have to try it next time my two boneheads decide they want to get sick.   Course my problems right now are Tiki and her almost liquid you know what.  Dont know if its cuz we switched her type of food (same brand, not puppy just flavored) or still wearing off the benedryl.   Or maybe needs more food to equal out all the water she drinks?

Lil' Ex, if you went from a higher protein to a lower, it will give the trots.
I feed all my dogs puppy kibble regardless of age. If they get fat, I reduce the amount.
My dogs of any age are sleek, healthy, and vibrant, with no health problems.
It is not just genetics," garbage in, garbage out", is the expression.

So although she is getting a protein supplement, she'd still be getting the runs?
