I'm out to kill myself!!!

I have no idea what I did but somehow I have managed to hurt my hip. So bad that I didn't even go to work today. I can barley walk and when I do I am in so much pain i'm ready to cry. It almost feels like I dislocated it. If the pain hasn't died down a bit by tomorrow night I will be going to the hospital as this kinda pain I haven't felt since giving birth!

I know I twisted it last weekend when I was at the track, there was a small hole in the ground that I could not see due to the grass. But, it hasn't bothered me at all until today when I got up. I woke up, went to get up and fell down. I can't put weight on it at all. I have spent most of the day laying on the bed watching movies. I'm going to go take a bath with epsion salt right now, maybe that will help it out a bit.

Anyone ever had something like this? Just wake up in the morning and BAM instant pain to the point where you can't even stand up and it lasts all day?

you had a nasty crash last week. hopefully you are not having problems from that, but it sounds like you might be. go in as soon as posible.you could have dislocated or cracked some bones. that is nothing to play around with. the severe pain is how the body reminds us we have a problem. please go in and have a doctor check you out !!!

This hip wasn't even hurt at all in the accident. The bike never even touched this leg. I dunno but the bath didn't really help then again I wasn't in there long as I was falling asleep and didn't want to drown. With my luck lately, I'm taking no chances!

doesnt matter.you had to have hit youre leg pretty hard to get that gash. you have nerves that run all through youre body. some that run from youre leg and up through youre hip. it could just be a pinched nerve. thats why insurance companies want a speedy settlement. because sometimes injuries dont show up right away. you could have done damage that you dont even realize. if its still the same tommorow, i would go have it checked out. i am not really one to talk. i have to be close to death before i go to the doctor. lol

I agree with Dusty, dont kill yourself and I know you wouldnt.  Just go to the Doc!  I hate Docs too!  I have probs that I am aware of too also.  Not always painful, but bad things that I know are wrong .  Go to the Doc!!!!!

yep defiantly get down the docs you never know what that crash done to your body. I have had a trapped nerve before an the pain is very acute ..i feel like i can barely move. Sometimes it can take awhile for the results of an accident to 'show'up get you bum down the docs lol

If we are talking about "the gash"...we think that you may have all kinds of complications.
At best, unmedicated, you could use compresses.
I am outa here to advise.
It was a hospital size gash[from the motor cycle, am I confusing them?]

This is not the leg that I had the gash on this is the other leg. Today I woke up and I would have never known I was in so much pain yesterday. I dunno all I know is that my pain is gone! YAY!!!!!

Glad you're better.
I'm guessing that you were compensating for the injured side, and over worked the other side?

Stormy maybe the crash threw your back out a touch ... thus throwing your hip out a touch... and causing the pain... ?? Glad it's all gone now.
