When I got home from work I was told to call my boss. He had been doing phone meetings for a week now and it was now my turn. Well he told me that I needed to get a cell phone but there is no way I can afford one. Then he told be that I would work until Friday and someone would take over my route on Monday. And then I just procedded to quit because there is no way in hell I am going to work for just three more days knowing I have been fired. Plus I see no need in having a cell for just 2 hours a day. I am so mad and my head fells like it is about to burst. So I don't know what me and Brad are going to do. I pray that the lawsuit goes faster..
i am soooo sorry to hear that paige. my job did the same thing to me after ten years and a screwed up body. i had surgery on both my hands and have a permanent impairment. when i called to see if they had part time work so that i could go back, they said i was laid off because they were so slow and had no work. when i filed for unemployment. they told unemployment that i voluntarily quit !! . so we are living on quinns disability. i sure hope things get better for a few of us here. and we dont get any replies about how we should have planned ahead for it ! lol . dont need any punches when we are already down.
I'm so sorry Paige. Sometimes boss's can be real a$$holes. it's like he said "your fired but work out the rest of the week" YEAH RIGHT! lol When I was prego it was so hard for me and hubby. He was the only one working and he also pays child support (800 a month). We didn't think we would be able to make it. Life throws us curve balls just throw some back!
I am a true believer that things happen for a reason. I know deep in my heart that things will get better.So right now I am going to sit here and eat some pizza. I swear I won't eat the whole thing. LOL!!! I just still can't believe its over a cell phone. BLAH!!!
