can something sooth her stomach?

I can tell that Syd is going to throw up soon. She is drooling alot right now and thats the first sign Syd has an upset tummy. Is there anything I can do too make her feel better and possibly not throw up? Thanks

i would give her a couple of slices of bread. thats what i give my dogs when they get sick. i eat bread myself and it works by absorbing the acid in your stomach. try that, it should settle her stomach .

Pepto-Bismol or Kaopectate - Sometimes a dose of Pepto-Bismol or Kaopectate can solve a mild case of stomach or intestinal upset. However, Pepto-Bismol contains salicylates, the active ingredient in aspirin, so dogs that are aspirin sensitive should be given Kaopectate. Any vomiting or diarrhea that persists for more than 24 hours needs your veterinarian's attention. Be sure to mention if you have given any Pepto-Bismol to your dog; the tablet form of Pepto-Bismol looks just like a quarter on X-rays.

I buy whole wheat pita bread[breakfast] and give them each a 1/2 slice a day, in addition to their later meal of kibble.

i agree that the whole wheat is alot healthier. quinn likes the wheat bread. i have just never cared for it. i think it would be alot better for the dog than the white.
