My sister called me at 10:30 last night. She said that after searching the area for about an hour she went to the pound. The grounds keeper finally answered the door and all he could tell her was that a lady brought in a fat mastiff and that she would have to come back the next day to see if it was Tess. Robin was pissed because the man wouldn't even tell her anything about the dog other than breed. She even offered him 2 hundred dollars just to look at her but he refused. But we are positive it is her. Her girlfriend took off work today to go pick her up but they won't let them get her out until noon...they open at 8. I feel so sorry for Tess because she is so old and has never slept anywhere other than in bed with my sister. And last night she had to sleep on cold concrete floor.
Oh, that's a shame. Well, at least she is not wandering into the street, getting hit by a car. Better the lock-up for her A hot meal and warm bed, and she will be just fine. Let us know when they have her home.
Why are shelters so cruel? Aren't they supposed to be helpful? I don't have one good thing to say about the shelters in my area. There is one lady who runs a shelter a little over an hour from me, which is who I got 4 of my dogs from, and she's the only decent one around me.

YAY!!!! At least shes good and well. Might not have been the best of nights for her or your sister but at least she's home! She can sleep in her bed tonight with mommy!
Oh wow! What did I miss? Paige, was that the same Mastiff that was in that pic of the Mastiff and Chihuahua that you showed me? I'm so glad she was found! That would be very scary to loose your dog
