I am confused, I have always went(and will continue to)go by the vaccination schedule that my vet suggests for my dogs. However, the breeder I am getting my pup from as well as I have seen that many others are now going about it in a different way. They give a kennel cough shot at 3 weeks old and a Progard 5 shot at 6 weeks old. Wormed at 2, 4, 5, and 7 weeks old. Then the next booster is at 12 weeks.
My vet has a different schedule but is this pretty normal? I will more then likely still get his 8 week shots but now I am wondering if it is really nessecary? Any input??
