I really need to rant about this! I'm so fed up with it here. The goverment is always saying how the water level is so low etc... Yet they keep building and cutting down trees adding parking lots, house's the whole works. I swear everytime I go somewhere there is a new patch of forest gone! The are complaing how the panthers, gators, hog, deer, snakes etc.. are going into the "new" houseing develpments and killing cats dogs eating peoples gardens. Well if they wouldn't have built there in the first place these animals would have a place to live still. Panters are showing up in parts of Florida that they have never been and they are wondering Why? Come on! Seriously it's not that hard to figure out! Yes I understand that we as people need a place to live BUT my deal is do they really need to cut down EVERY single tree there?? Do they really need to make a parking lot? Why not a parking garage? takes up less room and can park more cars. I noticed yesterday as I was driving a deer crossing sign. Now 3 years ago there was nothing but woods and you would see deer all the time, now it's compleaty built up, forest isn't for miles. That really made me think about all this. 3 Years ago deer were everywhere where I live, I haven't seen one in a LONG time. They are trapping gators cause they are living in ponds that they have lived in for years because they are now around houses and people are scared. If You Don't Like Gators Don't Move Around Them!
I guess I've just had it with everyone complaing about the enviorment yet they keep building which makes it worse. They want to resolve the problem but they are make more of a problem!
I can totally sympathize with that! The same thing is happening to our plains and mountains where I live (Colorado). The mountains are the worst. We can't hardly even hike anymore because we end up on 'private property' And if we go to national forest, usually we have to pay a 'daily use fee' It's sooooooooo annoying. I think I should move to Alaska. At least it's not totally developed.....yet.....

i love the little town of mineral washington, where my brother lives. its like stepping back in time. nothing ever changes there. all the houses around the lake, and all woods around that for miles and miles.its so peaceful to go visit up there. but the little town of graham, where i live has been cut into. there used to be just a small grocery and a gas station down the road and now its like a mini mall and with that came alot more traffic. there are woods for miles behind our house, but i always wonder how long it will be before they start cutting into that to build some other kind of crap !
