So the lady came today to pick up Sophie. I feel soooo good about this adoption! The lady was sooo sweet. She started crying when she saw her saying she was so perfect and more beautiful then she could have imagined. She thanked me over and over again, then gave me the biggest hug when she was leaving. So by now she is probably home in Mesa. I do hope she adapts well.
Oh...and I called the shelter that she was at today to have them fax us a new copy of her rabies and they told me she was a Katrina dog.

I'm so glad all went well today. The woman sounds like the perfect person to adopt Sophie. You're getting good at this fostering/adoption screening thing.

I just wanted to let you know we all arrived in Mesa safely!!! Sophie was great on the airplane, not a peep! She seems to be settling in well..... she is running around sniffing everything. She is probably looking for her play buddies and you! She is such a sweetie and my husband loves her. Thanks for taking such good care of her. Yay! Good job Jess on finding such a good home! She sounds really nice You're such a good foster mommy. If I ever get to move up there, I will have to get involved in the shelters too. I would like to do it here, but my yard is small...
