Photo Contest Themes

So We are at the end of this year for the photo contest. The last theme I have is December and of course that is Christmas.


We need themes for January and so on. Here is a list of themes we have already had. 


4th of July


Longest tongue


Oddest sleeping position


Halloween


What! I didn't do it!


If you have any ideas for themes post them here. Then we can put them with a month. If you an idea for a month add the month with the theme.


Put your thinking caps on we need themes to keep it alive!!!


Thanks Everyone for all the support and great pictures, lets keep this contest going! When we get to July we will have a a Photo of the year, unless everyone would like to have 2 contests for January and one be the Photo Contest Winner of the year!

How about for January it can be" Winter Pictures"? I know many people don't live where it snows but we can just see how creative they can get.

April can be "Playing in the Rain"

Other ones without a month could be.........

"Running Wild" (Pictures of Dogs Running)

"Bath Time"

"In the Car"

I will think of more and post them on this post.......

How about cats??

How about one specifically designed for the felines in our homes? It could be just the cutest kitty picture? Or something like that?

we could also have one for farm animals and then another one for other non animals.

we could really do any kind of contest that had to do with animals, doesn't really matter.  I would like to keep it animal related though. We could do something along the lines of owner and pet pictures. Farm animals would be great but there are only a few here that have them. Unless we take pictures of ones we don't actually own, but I would like to keep it to where we actually know the animal pictured.

I have a idea, I have seen this on another photo contest, you are not allowed to vote for your own pet. I think that is a great idea.

Thats a good idea but it would be a kind of hard to know if they voted for there pet or not.

Well, hopefull the people would try to be honest enough. It kind of wrecks the whole thing when people are not honest.

I never vote for my own pet.  To me its not about mine.  Mine have wone enough contests anyway. At other forums. If they wins here thats fine.


Hows about the best scenic(sp) picture of our pets. Wether it be in the garen with flowers, or in a meadow. near a stream, with the habor or ocean behind it.

What about best "oops" picture of your pet? Basically a picture of your pet that didn't turn out the way it was supposed to turn out or something that was not intended to be in the shot? (i.e., dog licked its nose when you took the picture or they rolled their eyes, or you took a picture of your dog and they decided right then they had to poo? lol I don't know)

I like the oops picture idea....mainly becasue i have alot of those pictures LOL.

How bout "playing in the snow" for January??
or our furkids playing with human kids or with other fur kids??

How bout something with dogs/cats playing with other animals like birds and guinea pigs??
Those kinds of pictures always turn out really cute.

Add-on: How bout pics of our pets "helping" us?? Like when you're cooking in the kitchen or fixing something in the garage and they always HAVE to be near you??

I'm loving all the idea's!!


Mollie only problem with the "playing in the snow" is that some of us don't live around snow! I think it would be a great contest but it would have to have another angle for the people that are not in the snowy area's.


Katz, I'm loving the "oopps" idea! I get alot of those!! LOL Although usually I delete them, i'll have to keep them from now on. The "Running wild" is also a good one, so is "bath time" and "Playing in the rain"


PD, the me and my family one is great! So is "Fun in the sun" and "I love mommy and\or daddy"


Puttin the snenic (sp) picture one is great!!! I think Katz would take us all down hard! LMAO


Oasis The "best trick" is a wonderful idea!!!!


Erica The "Silly Smile" is great! Mine have some wonderful smile pics and I know alot of others here do to!


 


 


What we need is a way to pick which ones we all like the best! I think i'll do a poll and the top 5 will be the next 5 months then we can do another poll after that! How does that sound?
