Christa, Derrick(Sarah's parents) Matt and I took Sarah trick or treating in my Papaw's neighborhood. (Big fancy schmancy subdivision with people giving out lots of candy) The best places to go! We went walking around with my Aunt and my cousin Mallary. Sarah couldn't have any candy (Daddy got it all, ha) so my mom got her a pumpkin full of baby treats (biter biscuits, fruit puffs, baby juice, food, etc) :) Sarah was a monkey! :)
I did absolutely nothing!!!! I was actually kind of excited to finally live somewhere where we would get trick or treaters....we had maybe ten total....! I was so dissapointed! So needless to say we just shoveled the candy into those few trick or treat bags we got.
We took the girls Trick-or-Treating by Hubby's parents house, Caitlyn was Strawberry Shortcake and Makaylah was a Bratz. They scored great with the candy. Unfortunately it was very cold and now I have a sick kid! :( Poor Strawberry Shortcake! However, the Bratz is just as Brattzy as ever! LOL It was alot of fun!
We set a couldrin of candy by our door and took Joe and 2 of his friends out around our neighborhood. Joe was a ninja. It was fun but only half the amount of kids as last year. Last year there was always a mob of kids. Next year we plan on staying here and letting a friend take Joe around the neighborhood so we can make a little haunted house in our garage.......hehehe
We sat home. But we did end up on the bikes and ride around the block a few times with Caleb. We almost had a heart attack cause a lady at the end of block was dressed up as the Grim Reaper and she jumped out in front of us. Ask me she was pretty stupid. You see 2 people and a child riding dirt bikes you don't jump out in front of them. She did give my son some candy along with others that were outside.
We have safe programs here fire trucks and ambulances pick up kids and take them trick or treating. We had a ambulance this year, I think about 30 kids came pileing outta that thing! In all I only had bout 4 knocks but in reality I had about 60 trick or treaters cause they came in huge groups.
