well the clinic called me today with the rest of the results of the cultures. i DO have the bad bad bacteria. she called it , and i dont know the spelling, merced . (mur-said). i had a staph too. i got a double whammy. they took me off the cephalexin and put me on 800 mil of sulphamethoxazole with trimethoprim. its a very aggresive bacteria and hopefully this will get it under control. i will start on the new meds at 8:00 and am hoping that they dont make me really sick.i will be soooo glad when its all over ! lol
Dang that bites that its the bad stuff. I hope they get the staff undercontrol too. My grandmother had a staff infection and it made her so grumpy. LOL
