Actually we may be planning a trip to Dallas in the next few months. They have an International Craniofacial instiute there with some great doctors that we may try to go see.
So if we do decide to go I was wondering to ya'll of any semi cheap but nice motel/hotels to stay at in that area?

Also guess what? My four yr old went to his peds. doctor today. They think he may have asthma( family history of that) and a lazy eye(yet another doctor). And after listening to me complain about my sons last development doctor. He recommended and referred us to a great doctor in Sav. So yet another doctor has been added to our growing list.

Oh for the asthma he has to take 1 Singular a day, 2 puffs off a preventaive meds. inhaler twice a day and yet another inhaler when his breathing acts up.

I'm in Fort Worth, not too far from Dallas. They have some wonderful doctors in Dallas. I have been gone a lot, Rebel. What is going on with you?

I'm sorry I missed it.

I will help if I can.

Its not me its my son Andrew. The long and the short of it is he was born with a cleft palate and at 1 yrs of age we had it repaired in FL. They did a cruddy job. So at age three he still had little to no speech. So saw a second cleft team (in Augusta Ga) they looked at his mouth and said he had to have immidate surgery. Which we did a yr ago. Now a yr later he still has little voc., speech is really hard to understand. Plus he has developed a fistula in his mounth. Which is where the sutures are coming apart allowing liquid into the nasal cavity. So when we go back to the team in Augusta I think he will need another surgey. And we are thinking of getting a second opinoin in Dallas at the International Craniofacial Institue. We have heard that they are pretty much the best of the best here in the States. So we thinkit is worth out while to take him there.

Also aside from that his peds. doctor thinks he has asthma. So now he is on three meds. for that. Just found out he may have a lazy eye. He is also developmently delayed. AndI think that brings everyone up to spend...lol...

There are a ton a good cheap motels and then you have your very expenive ones. But I would just go with a Days Inn, La Quinta, or Motel 6. Those are usually the ones I go for because we usually stay at my sisters house for free....
