Honestly, I am trying to see where you are trying to justify that all pits(and other breeds) deserve to be eliminated, when my question for you is, how come there aren't MORE pit bites, there sure as hell needs to be. Some people deserve to get their faces mauled off and they also deserve to get the same type of treatment that these poor dogs suffered. Tell me who the monster is in each of these pages, I would like you to read EVERY page(their are only six on the link I am providing) and I want you to look at EVERY picture and tell me WHY these dogs don't feel the need to attack every single thing on this earth, What in the hell did we ever do for them? Not enough. People that do this are the ones that need to be eliminated, not the dogs. If you want to ban a breed, you must see all the different views that they suffer through. If you cannot look at these pictures or just choose not too, I do not feel you have the right to judge these dogs fate. Or anyone elses for that matter.
that is sooo sad. unfortunately there will always be the pro ban people. the ones that are uneducated about the breed and dont want to be. i dont see how anyone can say they love animals. yet fight to get an entire breed eradicated. if you love animals, then you love ALL animals. but some are too hard headed and ignorant. whats the saddest part of all? these same people that help pass the pitbull bans will be the first ones raising a stink when the BSL decides to target their breed next. because they will not stop at pits. if people sit back and let the BSL have their way, the next breed that they will be coming after could very well be one of OUR beloved pets !
I couldn't get past Page 1. My brother had 2 loving pitbulls. They were the best dogs ever. They were so gentle with my niece when she was a baby. Unfortunately they died a year apart due to cancer. My brother has never recovered from the emotional scar it left on his heart. In fact, when I talked about getting a dog, he tried to talk me out of it, saying that when they die...the pain is just umbearable. Sadly, I too went through the saga of losing Mason.
I agree with you kitty why punish the breed when its not the breeds fault. People think that getting rid of a breed will solve there problem when in fact it won't. If there are dog fights going on and they think that getting rid of the breed will solve it they have to think dog fighting is aganst the law so what would they care if you banned the breed.
