So i have done it again....been suckered in by a sweet face. Her and her 2 bothers were pulled out of a pound this morning. She is about 12 weeks...and she just got spayed today. We are thinking she looks like she has some pit in her, but we are not sure what else. You will have to tell me what you think. We are only taking her until saturday though, I hope she gets adopted then. I just don't feel it fair to her to take her longer than sat because i have the next few days off, but then after sat i work everyday until i leave to costa rica for a week. She is such a sweetheart.
Sounds like you have more of a rescue going there...........hehe. For my mom's rescue, they do special adopt days on some Saturdays at her grooming shop. She says they adopt a ton of dogs on those days.
Jess, you're so sweet how you're always helping out the shelter! Your new foster is a cutie! She has that real innocent look on her face like, 'Whatever it is, I didn't do it!' lol

Those little faces, how can you resist. You know last sunday at the pet rescue festival in Calif. One of our gals bought two red pit pups from a breeder that was specifically breeding for fighting. Don't know how she knew, but these two 8 week old pups are saved from that now. You would not believe how many hispanic teens inquired about them, and families too. I doubt they will allow them to go into a hispanic area for fear they will be stolen and used for bad.
On a good note a dog the rescue had for over 6 months has found a home, He is about 60 lbs of muscle, possible american bulldog/pit something somethin. Total sweetie.
Here he is with his new family, Top of the page, he looks so small, they must be tall. LOL
She is super sweet so far. I had to work an overnight shift last night so she has been spoiled about sleeping in the bed. She cries when she is in a crate...and i really wanted sleep, she has been in my bed for almost the last 24 hours...lol.
I am really loving fostering....nothing beats the feeling you get when you make a good adoption. One of my heelerX pups that got adopted comes into petsmart almost every other day with his new owner. She is so sweet. She is due anyday, she adopted a kitty one week then a puppy the next, she is going to have her hands full! He is spoiled no doubt!
