I never realized rent was so expensive in Cali. I mean I knew it was higher but that is alot. We are paying just over $500 for our place. (Renting from Hubbys dad though) But the average up here is around $600-$700

It looks like a very nice house. I LOVE the gazebo and the T.V. is awesome!

wow. that IS a nice place syd. nice big yard too. i saw the price too and they must pay higher wages down in cally . lol . the house we were renting last year before we bought this place was a huge rambler home like yours. 2100 square feet, fireplace, two living rooms, two full baths, an outdoor kennel and dog run on a fenced acre. the rent was 900. i loved the house too, but the owners divorced and put it up for sale. so luckily we found this place and were able to buy it on an owner contract. i love it here . sooooo peaceful ! i am sure you are excited about your new home. i am happy that you found something you like ! congrats.

Sounds and looks awesome!!!! Rent does seem high there. A house like that would rent for maybe 950 here. But I guess thats what I get for living in a cheap town. And I love the colors of the walls.

Yes it is very expensive to live here, especially if you want to live somewhere that you feel safe walking the dogs in the evening.

I have alot of money saved up to buy a house, and when that time comes I am definetly moving out of state. I could get a lot more for my money somewhere else. I just have to decide where to move, but thats not for an other year or two.

I love this new place, we already started moving stuff in. I just hate the moving process though, im trying to get it all done. Im in charge of moving all the small stuff, and Jasons job is the furniture that i cant move.

I'll post pics of it once we are all moved in. Im so excited!

Rent is rediculous out here.  I have stay put where I am because my rent is half of what everyone else is paying.  Been here about 15 years now. we pay $650 a month. Thankfully it has never been raised. Once we do go the new tenent will pay around $1000 or so. My landlord is still not upping the guy upstairs rent.  He could have told him a higher price to match what everyone else is chrging but he is paying $950 I believe.

Nice house Syd. When can We come over. LOL
